The fact that Morey hasn't made any other deals yet is a good sign probably, unless Dwight decision to join us depends on getting Smith first..
I started a new thread that I call a letter to Dwight which i wanted to contribute so if you want to read go for it http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showthread.php?p=8072103&posted=1#post8072103 at worst it wastes a little time till Friday when he is expected to make his decision
Must be why Dwight's camping in the mountains. all super-heros have a fork in the road moment just before they save the world.
If we actually do get Dwight, will be be flooded by Dwight Only Fans? Or mostly just bandwagon fans of the Rockets?
bandwagon fans more generally, yeah. Will probably be the second most bandwagoned team behind Miami for a while.
I was pretty impressed that kid did some nice investigative reporting. He even corrected WOJ They should encourage him and give him some sort of internship with the LA times when he is out of high school.
Their thread opened 68 days ago and have 500 pages. Our thread opened 3 days ago (well 4 days but it opened near midnight on June 30) and we have 346... That's like 7.3 pages per day for the lakers and 115 pages per day for us.
If anything that's embarrassing not cool. No news today and you people can't stop posting and arguing over the same stuff over and over. I'll check back Friday for the announcement.
So I got a little bored and decided to check out this Vince the barber guy. http://instagram.com/p/aUar1ZQqxC/ Dwight gets his haircut every week. This may be a reason his people would meet with a barber prior to moving here. A once a week hair cut at a place of living is a big deal. The people need to make sure they can trust this local guy. I did some more investigation (journalism background, taught to always keep digging) and looked up the guy who got a hair cut at the same time as Dwight. Here is his twitter. https://twitter.com/peeweekirkland Here are some interesting tweets that would line up with Doc Rocket's theory that Dwight told some player he would be here.

@JonesOnTheNBA wat do u think of a James Harden and Dwight Howard 1 2 combo?
— Claude Banks (@peeweekirkland) March 26, 2013

100% agreeRT @JonesOnTheNBA: @peeweekirkland Love it.
