That's not true at all. The LOFs messed this place up. There's no denying that. It's a fact.

LOHs always have the facts right though, it is self-evident.

Is he THAT bad to you? My god you act as if he was some bad attitude player on the decline. So what if he stays? I've never seen people as persistent about getting rid of a role player than you guys.

Again, it's more the delusional fans then it is Lin.

That said, it's hilarious to see how angry you guys are upon finding out that the Rockets would pretty much trade him for a Shamwow at this point.

Why would Lin fans be angry? Shouldn't the self proclaimed "true Rox fans" be the ones who are angry that because Mchale so devalued Lin last year that now he is sort of untradeable?? Many Lin fans want him out of Houston so they can see him play his natural position again, you know PG?? Other Lin fans want him to stay in Houston as clearly the Rox will be a real contender in the coming years. Heck Lin may well get a ring before Melo does. If that does happen it would only strengthen Lin's faith (it was all God's plan that NYK didn't match the offer).

It seems like Lin is going to stay and if so I think he will have a very productive year dishing to Dwight.

That's for them to answer. I will take a moment to laugh at the fact that you said McHale devalued him (you realize the guy is coaching for his job, right). Have you ever taken a moment to realize Lin just isn't that good? He's an NBA player but not the PG with "upside" (this has become as bad as sources on the board) that you think? Personally, i want him traded because of his contract. If he was signed for 3-4 mil a year and coming off the bench I'd be thrilled. If he gets a ring here I'll be thrilled as it means we're holding the trophy at the end of the year. Like I said, I don't dislike Jeremy at all. If he is successful somewhere else I would still be happy for him since he's a good person. His fan base; that's a different story.

Only because we can't trade him. This is far from a secret anymore

Prime example of the bs people are talking about when they say they hate the crap some Lin fans spew.

Crapping on the coach or the team so that Lin takes no fault.

That's a bold face lie. You guys just want to dog Lin while everyone tells you how witty you are. You just want to hate in peace. I RARELY IF EVER see an insufferable Lin fan start talking crazy about Lin all of a sudden out of the blue. It's more like low iq haters start spewing ABJ, ABJ, all day long that people can't take this chit without defending a good mans honor.

And lololol when ijuts start criticizing the defenders and not the haters!

Hater:(King1/iJHolmes) Lin is the worst ever!! He just needs to go. I just hate him plain and simple.
Fan: Come on. He may not be an all star but he's been good last year and he'll be better this year. Give him a break.
Hater:(Tycoonchip/insert name here) Wut!! You fanboys gotta stop defending that marginal, average, worst defender ever, a token, a marketing ploy. He doesn't need your defending!!
Fan: Stop hating. He's not that bad.
Hater:(in unison) so you're saying he's an all star, and more important than the Rockets!! You think he's a top 3 pg?!!! I'm sick of you delusional basketball playing, actually knows what you're talking about, job having probably business owning fanboys. Hey King did you just see that. Dude just called me a Racist!!
Fan: Wait. I didn't say any of that.
Hater: Oh, yes you did my friend. Yes. You. Did.. (Shakes their collective heads as their mommies tuck them into bed.)

I'm thoroughly convinced that most of you ABJs are either high school or college kids. I'd put money on it.
    Grow up kids.

Why are you so mad that Lin made 8 millions a year as a decent NBA pg who has helped engineered the exciting fast tempo attack and ball sharing style of basketball and helping the team to make the playoff for the first time in a while last season? For what we know, Dragic signed 4 year deal with Phoenix for $28 million at 7m a year. Is he a better basketball player? That much better than JLin? Did his team go anywhere? How about Evans of the King? Apparently he is being offered a huge deal of 4 years worth $44 million at 11m a year. His scoring average is slightly more than JLin, but his assists/game as a guard is 3.5 compared to Lin's 6.1. Lin's court vision and playmaking skill has made everybody (except perhaps Harden) better. So why the heck you are so upset with JLin's contract. At least he had Linsanity to justify to GMs of his worth. Compared to Lin's contribution, What has Dragic done for Phoenix except leading the team to NBA cellar in the West?

If Dwight comes to Houston, there's literally a 0% chance Lin will find himself in a bad situation...either he starts with the Rockets and gets 7+ assists/gm for a contender, or he's traded to a rebuilding team and gets to put up huge numbers while playing the real PG position. Even if Bev starts, he'll be the 6th man on a contender and possibly be in the running for 6th man of the year. Any way you slice it, Lin's near future is looking fine, barring injury of course (knock on wood)

Ditto...not gonna get mad if Jlin is traded. My admiration for Jlin is beyond basketball. It's not hard to root for someone with a good heart.

It's definitely true that Lin is responsible for his performance and blame should not go around. It is a fact that players can misused. I've misused players before and I wasn't able to recognize that fact until time had passed. It is not done myth. Having said that, I put the onus on Lin to perform regardless of whether the coaching staff misused him or not as he is a professional.
Besides, it's not just Lin. This board has frequently lamented the misuse of DMo or lack of plays called for Harden, forcing him to appear as an iso happy player when the coaching staff could've put them in better positions to shine. Movie directors have the same influence on actors and can make or break their performance.

Since you used my name, do me a favor and go through my posts (since they're all about how much i hate lin, and find the phrase, or anything similar to "i hate lin" "he's the worst player ever" "he sucks". PLEASE do me a favor since you think im such a LOH, and go find that. Report back with results, i've asked plenty other LOFs to do the same, and of course they never come back, because i've never said Lin sucks, or that i hate the kid. You LOFs are too busy calling anyone who doesn't worship him a LOH.
