haha. I initially heard he was coming to my home state, Montana, to make his decision. I still crack up at what somehow seems to be the general belief that there is no internet or cell phone service here and that we ride horses to work.
Dallas doesn't make any sense other than the income related benefits. Probably about the same as Houston. Dirk is old and on the decline. They don't have anyone else I can think of that is a serious player. Howard and Nowitzki would keep the afloat but I can't see them making the playoffs. They get a lotto pick probably @ the 10-13 range. Then Dirk takes a paycut so they can add a third star... OK, but Dirk is a year older and isn't that great anymore. If it ends up about Winning and building a dynasty then he will choose us.
I guarantee you Dwight is in constant contact with the team he has chosen. I'm sure he wants a hand in helping form a viable strategy for the remainder of the free agency period with his new team.
