The billboards were put up to show him (in a small way) how much they wanted him to remain a Laker. He's already met with everyone and has left town to think things over and to make a decision. So why have the boards up if he's not even in town to see them. There's not much to read into this.

Why would Dwight schedule the release of his decision on Friday if he doesn't know where he's signing. He obviously knows and I wouldn't be surprised if he knew throughout this whole process.

Man. The more i think about it, the more i like a cheap Bynum and Smith frontline. I'm really not going to be upset if he chooses to stay in LA or go elsewhere. I know a lot of people aren't gonna like it. But, i think Bynum is the first player Morey reaches to if Dwight doesn't come. And..i kinda like it. Traditional post player unlike Dwight.
