Well, it could be that they can't get anyone on record to confirm what they know. Kinda hard to pitch a story like this with only an anonymous source to go by with. Plus, knowing Howard - tyhey might look like jackasses when they report it too prematurely.
I tend to agree but I believe Howard appreciates shooters but he also appreciates someone who can take it to the rack strong and get to the free throw line. Harden gives you the shooting ability, unselfishness and abililty to take it in strong where the big boys play. Steph will never be that type of player. With Harden, Howard and to a certain extent Lin, the Rockets will get to the freethrow line often and have 2 league leaders on the same team. the other team would be in foul trouble all game although they want him on the line.
You are correct ! Nash is a great player, no disrespect ! But he is a 40 year old guard and Kobe didn't step out of the way at any time... the system wasn't designed to work with pick&roll... I believe McHale can generate a better offense for Dwight ! Believe ;-)
