OJ Mayo going to Milwaukee. No chance Dallas gets Dwight after losing their 2nd highest scorer

Im not too concerned about Golden State getting Dwight. They can throw real nice assets back at them like Thompson, Barnes, and picks, but they would need to also send Bogut or Biedrins as part of the deal to make the salaries work.

You'd have to think that if the Lakers can't have Dwight, they would want to get him as far away from California as possible, and they would prefer to send him to Houston.

If GS becomes the front-runner in a Sign and Trade Houston should be willing to give up Asik & multiple picks for Howard, and inform Dwights people what deals they have lineup up as well to bring in another free agent with their cap space they will be getting back or in trade.

And if worse comes to worst, Houston can also take back a contract along in a S&T with Howard for Asik.... Even up to 7 million dollars worth if they absolutely had to.

I guess it all would come down to how high the Lakers are on Thompson but you'd have to think that with Kobe there a few more years, Asik would have a much higher value especially in the short term.

Everyone seems to be doing this nowadays.

I haven't seen an legitimate source actually pick a side and actually say this is where he's going to be and I don't think they will until it just about happens.

You don't know who Peter Vecsey is?

He's a famous long-time NBA writer from NY. Strongly disliked on here.

If Howard goes to GSW, he loses out on the extra "30 million" PLUS he doesnt get to recoup any of it through the lack of state taxes. Only HOU/LA makes sense, and it will come down to those 2 teams.

i don't think mayo was ever a legitimate appeal for howard to play in dallas..

if anything, i think they are preparing to trade marion, picks to try and get a shot at rondo..

GOD, if dwight doesn't sign with us, i pray he doesn't go to dallas.

Thanks. I'm pretty bad about keeping up with the social aspects of the nba. Don't really know who any reporters/journalists are or about their cred. I only know about Woj because CF praises him, lol.

Well if you can't score points you lose more games. You lose more games, you get frustrated and start blaming easy scapegoats like Dwight. BTW OJ Mayo was one of the youngest guys on that team.

If they trade Marion also, they might be done.
