If I'm the lakers I'm telling Dwight this: we were terrible last year. A laughing stock. We were old, slow and dysfunctional. Everyone knows we were terrible. But you know what Dwight? We still finished above the rockets and mavericks. We are the mf'ing Lakers bro. We do this. Just playing devils advocate. That's the angle is be pushing if I were them.
Hahahaha, I love the little Aaron Brooks in the background. I feel so close to all of you right now, you glorious bastards!
If i was the rockets, I would tell him that us and the Lakers has the same record last year with YOU on the lakers. Come to us and we improve to the top tier of the west.
Look, be gay all you want, no prob. However, keep the explicit stuff where it's appropriate and stick to the subject. If you want more of that stuff the hangout is the place to do it.
So your pitch is "we're barely better than them WITH you"? What happens when you add him to those teams?
And you know what else Dwight? Next year, we will be even more terrible. Nash is 40 years old, Kobe snapped his foot, and Pau Gasol sucks. You still have Mike D'Antoni as the head coach. We're gonna be awful. But you know what Dwight? All those contracts come off the books after next season. We have a clean slate heading into Free Agency. You know what that means Dwight? It means LeBron. It means Carmelo. But you know what happens if we don't sign a star next year? It means we're gonna suck some more. We're gonna be awful. You're gonna be 30 years old, we'd have headed nowhere in 2 years, and we will not even sniff the playoffs. But that won't happen Dwight, we're the Lakers.
This argument doesn't hold much weight. They finished ahead of us barely WITH Dwight Howard. Imagine how bad the Lakers would've been last year without him. As much as I'm excited about DH12, I'm not scared of the Lakers if he re-signs. We will get better this next year, hold onto our cap space, and make a run at Love or LMA next year to pair with an upgrade at PG, creating a pretty great contender. #itsallgood

Unfortunately, I'm visiting Houston right now. Otherwise I could go check up on Dwight Howard since I live in the mountains
With logic like this, I kind of wish you worked for the Lakers. Dwight would've signed with us 2 days ago.
What makes you think that? I think he must have some connection to Fegan... he seemed to know DH's thoughts about each and every of the meetings as soon as they concluded. I don't think we've gotten an update since LA, though.
