I always thought the only way they would have blown Howard away was if D'Antoni resigned and Kobe told him he would give up the reigns. Neither happened form what I've heard.

So The Lakers did NOTHING to impress Dwight. They just reminded him "It's Los Angeles, It's the Lakers". Very arrogant.

 

I love comments like this. If he stays, he's the guy to lead them to a title. If he goes, it's because he couldn't handle the pressure.

It's funny that all the LA media is trying to goad Howard into staying by saying he'll be the man and a a legend if he can win in LA, but then say LeBron and other greats will show up to win rings for you if you stay. He's star bait and nothing else to them.

 

What was "here" for him in LA? Old ******* teammates? Living in the past??

If you live in the past (Lakers) you are depressed.

If you live in the future (Mavs) you are anxious.

Rockets are the best situation for the present reality no matter how much of a homer you are.
