No thanks, we'd probably have to overpay and he is literally 1-dimensional. We could spend that money on someone that does more and would be more beneficial to the team. IMO Korver would be a waste of a contract.
If I were Dwight. I'd go to the Warriors and play with Steph Curry, Klay Thompson and Harrison Barnes. probably the best supporting cast available for Dwight. Not to mention decent bigs like David Lee and Carl Landry and hopefully resign Jarret Jack.
Thank goodness this thread wasn't locked by the time I saw it. Thank you mjhaver5 on behalf of people who think they sometimes have better things to do than read through pages of irrelevant comments in the 'main thread' just to get the latest updates.
I just don't understand how the Rockets are claiming that they will try to upgrade the roster if Dwight commits, and they also claim that Asik and Lin won't be moved. No one else on the roster makes even $2m, how are we going to get impact guys with those kinds of numbers? Something's got to give. I don't doubt Howard is interested in having Asik on the roster, but I think he would prefer Josh Smith over Asik. If that's what it takes to get Howard to commit, then the Rockets better not be stubborn about this.
