Has-beens? Dude, Deron Williams is a stud, Brook Lopez proved last season that he belongs in the conversation for best big men in the NBA, Joe Johnson is a legitimate all-around player, and KG and Pierce still have a good 2 years each to play at a high level. That coupled with good 3-point shooters, and a calming influence from Kidd, and this team has a chance to go deep into the playoffs. I have no idea how you can say the Nets haven't had a killer off-season.
He completely changed the identity of the Celtics team. He forced the team into actually caring about defense and care about winning. I mean a ridiculously old, hobbled Celtics team somehow took the Heat to 7 games in 2012 simply on the basis of caring about every possession and defense.
Keep hope alive! <blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p>Source: nets out of the running for Kyle Korver</p>— Chris Broussard (@Chris_Broussard) <a href="https://twitter.com/Chris_Broussard/statuses/352402983595687936">July 3, 2013</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script> <blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p>Nets don't have enough $ to offer him. Hell, if Rockets do plan on doing S&T for Smith using Asik/Lin, they might as well have Atlanta throw Korver in there.
No, he used to be a Jazz and is a freaking p***y. He has the most ducking like a little girl with a scared look on his face images out there than any other NBA player. It's almost a go-to move, looks exactly the same everytime, tucking his hands in and making a girl whose scared of a spider on the floor face:
He is the one player I ALWAYS traded for over the years for NBA Live and NBA 2k. He's been one of the most consistent 3 point shooters in NBA history.
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p>Why do Nets now believe they no shot at sharpshooter Kyle Korver? Word is Bucks, for one, offering Korver three-year deal worth $20 million</p>— Marc Stein (@ESPNSteinLine) <a href="https://twitter.com/ESPNSteinLine/statuses/352425893509074946">July 3, 2013</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
Korver would be such an awesome fit on a team with Dwight and Harden. I don't see how we could make it happen though if he's really being offered that deal by the Bucks.
Prissy d aside, the boy can shoot, really, really shoot. 42% for his career and 45% over the last 4 seasons. Him on the floor with Howard and Harden, forget it. If the bucks offer is legit can't compete with that, but he would be a great fit.
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p>Another team I was advised to keep eye on in Korver chase: San Antonio. I'm not sure if Korver is what OKC need. But they need shooter of the bench since Martin gone to the woods.
