So some barber is saying that Dwight is coming to Houston? I've always felt like Lin needs a different barber. That ish looks like he got a $5 cut in Alief.
It's Lin's barber (as well as Harden's), he probably doesn't even know what free agency is, he's a hairdresser....
PhiSlamma posted this last night with some good comments. The LG guys are eating it up and telling everybody to tweet it to Dwight. The article is so over the top ridiculous you'd have to be a fool to be swayed by it.
If Dwight leaves LA, they're going to throw the "quitter" garbage all over him. Meanwhile, the rest of the world realizes that the Lakers failed to create a winning environment. They slapped a bunch of random, aging, non-cohesive parts together and tried to create a dynasty. It fell apart in less than one season. But no, Dwight is a big quitter...
Yep, here's the post I made on it: http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showpost.php?p=8067039&postcount=4523 Berger is biased on this issue, as he seems to be with any issue that involves Kobe Bryant or the Lakers. The column is a joke. Honestly, it's embarrassing.
The lakers implied they're basically not going to offer him more than near minimum, he's not staying. It's beyond the point of being way too low.
Woke up in the middle of the night to check CF's and saw that a barber has a meeting w/ Dwight and Doc Rocket tweets...which then proceeded people to post gifs of gay dudes kissing and then stepped it up a notch w/ the Zoe Saldana and Mila Kunis gif. That's when I decided to head back to sleep lol
Lol well as we all know this is Dwight but I see him being able to look past all the BS Kobe and the Lakers feeding him. Only one who wants to be there is Kobe. I'm sorry LA you had your chance and now we will show Dwight why he should of been with us since last season.
Exactly. Disappointing. Somewhere along the way this thread turned into the Hangout, in this thread every post must have a picture. On the positive, I think Han Solo met someone that's interested in going to his pool party. I don't want to speak for him, though.
There's a strategy being employed by Laker Media writers: Mock Dwight and try to make it out where if he stays, he's "proving you wrong." Berger did this in his piece. Saw Kevin Ding, Lakers writer who hammered Dwight all last year, do the same thing. They're basically saying "yeah, the 'Dwight Howard' thing to do here would be to leave, so I think he's going to leave." So, for Dwight to "prove them wrong," he has to stay. It's a pathetic tactic, bordering on childish. Dwight is sensitive, though. So you never know what will work on him. The only thing that concerns me is the agent. I dont care what Berger writes. But the agent wants Dwight in LA, and LA went last in their presentations. This shouldn't be a tough decision, at all. But this is Dwight Howard, so we'll see what happens. Broussard says we go after Iggy and Smith if Dwight doesn't come. I'm ok with that, too. Even though I'm not a massive Josh Smith fan.
To be fair, the barber never said Dwight was coming to Houston. He just said he was meeting with Dwight's people today. Now I know what the obvious conclusion is, but to everyone saying "lol how you going to believe a barber saying Dwight coming to Houston!@@!$!", he never actually said that is what is happening.
