Say we do sign Dwight, then josh Smith comes aboard, does that make the rockets the most hated team next year?
Before I leave, just so people don't have to go digging. Here is the last bit of 'news' that was posted here: <blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p>Meeting with Dwight Howard's people tomorrow <a href="https://twitter.com/search?q=%23grind&src=hash">#grind</a> <a href="https://twitter.com/search?q=%23blessed&src=hash">#blessed</a></p>— Derek Rivera (@Derek_GoldenBoy) <a href="https://twitter.com/Derek_GoldenBoy/statuses/352299605108596737">July 3, 2013</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script> His actual twitter page is here: https://twitter.com/Derek_GoldenBoy
Hey guys, the late money in Vegas went towards the Rockets also. Around 12 hours ago I believe, it was reported that Bovada had Houston leading the way at 7/5 with the Lakers next at 9/5. The prop is closed for betting. But, when it closed, the Lakers odds rose slightly to 2/1 while ours dropped a bit to 5/4. I like it. http://sports.bovada.lv/sports-betting/nba-player-props.jsp
I think Dwight will earn the ire of Lakers fans for sure, and since they are everywhere you'll probably hear a lot about it. I don't think getting Smith will really change anything about how people look at our team. I think it'll come down to this: how is the media going to treat us if we put that team together. Will they be mad that Dwight left L.A. and therefore paint us more negatively than if he had stayed in L.A.? They have a lot of power, unfortunately, so we'll just have to see how it plays out! One thing is for sure though- we love our team no matter what!
I dunno but the Rox Laker game is going to be FUN! Kobe is going to go straight hero ball and throw up forty shots. Haha
Well not to pour water on all the gays here, but it looks like everything hasn't been decided yet. It looks like the Lakers still think they are in it. Someone named Luca Brasi on lakersground said that and he sounds like an insider from how the mods talked about him. Luca Brasi wrote: Every laker fan would have been proud with the way the lakers conducted their meeting. It was extremely detailed and full of passion. Luca Brasi wrote: Cap space was mentioned at length. Contrary to what Ramona reported the lakers were hoping to get a whispered yes after the meeting. Luca Brasi wrote: Every one put on a brave face afterwards. But the lakers are sweating it out. I doubt Mitch gets much sleep till he gets word.
Woj has spoken http://sports.yahoo.com/news/nba--d...ts-his-choice-as-the-nba-waits-082430862.html Brand new article. I'm reading it now. HTown5933 -- Nice to hear about the sports book odds tilting more our way. Barber! I agree, no way Wade or LeBron go to LAL in 2014. That's Laker media fantasy.
