King's offer is 14M per year... What would the $ for the first year of that contract start at?

Oh please. There's a reason why they are constantly on The First 48.

I'm not sure which is better on the court, but I think you'd get Iggy cheaper than Smith for whatever reason and that would be a plus for sure.

    Hey everyone-
Been reading Clutchfans for years and just decided to set up an account to post.

Sorry if this has been said already...but I just saw Daryl Morey's response to Dwight Howard's Twitter earlier today:

Really Morey? You are going to post a video from several years ago?

Wouldn't it have been better to say something like 'that handshake looks familiar' with this video instead?? (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l9GuAzxS9F8)

Meeting with him might have just been Morey performing his due diligence and keeping the lines of communication open with everyone in case Dwight falls through.

Why would we want Iggy if we already have Parsons and Harden playing the 2/3. We need a starting caliber PF right now, so definitely Dwight/Smith.

I would love Iggy's defense next to Harden, but I think Smith fills more of a need for us.

Any chance of a sign and trade for Iggy, and leave Smith in Atlanta? What would they want? The guy is a baller. Howard, Harden, Iggy, Parsons, somebody would be a hell of a team.

Iggy and Parsons are too similar...Smith would fit better than Iggy.

Again, we already have a starting caliber SG and SF. What we need, whether we get Dwight or not (keep Asik), is a starting PF. Smith fits our needs better than Iggy.

Parsons would obviously play the stretch 4.

Denver has Ty Lawson at PG and JaVale McGee at C. Not sure either Lin or Asik fit their needs as far as on court talent goes.

I think Asik is better than McGee of course, but Denver is determined to find out what potential McGee has (part of the disagreement that got George Karl fired). I suppose Lin could fill a 6th man role that Andre Miller played (he was a George Karl guy and may be on his way out). But who knows what that team is thinking.

Man, if nothing happens this offseason, we're going to have a lot of disgruntled players come training camp. Must be frustrating for Omer and Jeremy to listen to all this trade rumours.

You would probably bring in a 3rd team to facilitate.
