lol yea, except it's clear to the eye that with that comes expectations to perform and win....Dwight doesn't like being held accountable like that!
I don't see Harden as the bj type. Parsons is the guy to seal the deal, in my opinion. And Royce likes to rim so why not have him do something useful for this organization for once?
Bottom line - if he goes to the Lakers, he has turned down Yao Ming, Dikembe Mutombo, Hakeem Olajuwon, Kevin McHale, James Harden, and Chandler Parsons to their face in order to roll the dice with the same cast as last year, 'the worst year of his career'. It can't be about winning, then, and we will have avoided a player who isn't in it to create a legend. Just to hitch a ride.
Seriously though...that John Wall thing is a Morey trade...it would just come out of nowhere and be for a player no one expected to get traded
But he won't be worshipped because the Lakers won't win next year. With Howard they will likely make the playoffs but be stuck in mediocrity with no hope at a Wiggins. Then they have to pray Lebron or Carmelo signs the next season. LA fans are already pissed at him and without him winning they will continue to crucify him. If he signs with LA he will regret it.
Yeah, that Palmer. He posts the most ridiculous stuff sometimes. He'll post something (and these numbers aren't actual) like... Career 3 pointers.... Kobe 2,127.... Bird 784.... And, is actually insinuation Kobe's a better shooter. He won't clarify, "I know the game is different today... and Kobe's played in 'x' more games, but..." He's a punk. He went on and on and on a few years ago arguing against the common knowledge that MJ would average 40 in today's game... talked about how the defenses are actually better today, regardless of the fact they were more physical back in the day. Nowhere near as smart as he thinks he is. I am a numbers guy, but he relies almost SOLELY on numbers.
Maybe you're right. I HOPE you're right. Him tweeting something about "Hold on... texting with someone very close to Dwight situation" or whatever it was does sound corny and possibly fake or almost as he's playing. Still bothers me a bit right now though.
It was nothing, it was a fake tweet about Lin for Wall. Makes no sense for Washington, but I was just saying how that's always how Morey trades are. They come out of nowhere and are for a player no one expected was even on the block.
I think insiders should be fined every time they make a false claim would put a end to how much crap they tweet out. Multiple sources say dwight will sign some where thats what im hearing
The Lakers meeting must have gone badly because if the opposite had taken place, ESPN would be all over it irt to D12 re-signing with the Lakers. Not a done deal until it is done, but "the decision" is between us and the old legs Mavs.
I'm okay with him taking his time, just means he is more and more separated from the emotion of it all. Objectively thinking, Rockets are a no brainer.
laker fans, ignorant to how many championships their franchise owns and not the slightest grasp of what a decade is.. <blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p><a href="https://twitter.com/DwightHoward">@DwightHoward</a> <a href="https://twitter.com/Hawks">@Hawks</a> 1 ring <a href="https://twitter.com/rockets">@Rockets</a> 2 rings <a href="https://twitter.com/dallasmavs">@dallasmavs</a> 1 ring <a href="https://twitter.com/Lakers">@Lakers</a> 18 rings 5 in the last decade <a href="https://twitter.com/search?q=%23STAYD12&src=hash">#STAYD12</a> <a href="https://twitter.com/search?q=%23THEMOVEMENT&src=hash">#THEMOVEMENT</a></p>— LakersFan24 (@UnpredictableT2) <a href="https://twitter.com/UnpredictableT2/statuses/351957594950205441">July 2, 2013</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
Agreed. How awesome would it be if they had scoop percentages. You go below .600, you're interning for a year.
