Exactly my thinking. All of the problems for Dwight were right there on display. Of course I do not know what was said. But Kobe was probably talking about we can win more championships for my legacy and D'Antoni was looking him in the eye saying hey buddy I'm here to stay. Come back and help win more rings for Kobe. And Nash was saying please come back Dwight; I don't want to be stuck with ball hogging Kobe alone. I'm on my last legs and Kobe's only got one left. Help. Dwight may find LA to hard to walk from, all the glitz and glamour. I suspect that is part of it and might be a reason he stays. But it won't be because of this meeting. How can Kobe look Howard in the eye and say we are building this team around you. Along is Kobe is there that would be a lie and Nash is mostly irrelevant now. On one side he has a young team offering to build around him. On the other side he has a bunch of old decripid walking future hall of famers who still think they are in their prime, asking him to come along for their ride. Kobe's ride to be exact. The Choice is easy if it was just basketball. But unfortunately it is not. Nothing matches LA for fame and glory, glitz and glamour... and that's the real decision. Can you walk away from LA. The Lakers may have done nothing to increase there chances but bottom line LA is still LA and we are just an ol' texas town. I have no idea which way this goes but I am prepared to sign Josh Smith if Howard doesn't sign. He actually looks better without Howard. But still a big step down.

If they aren't showing it because it may be photoshopped, then release the pic and warn people that ehh... it may be photoshopped. Proceed with caution.
I have a very high regard for Cubes. He took a moribund franchise and revived the hell out of it. Cubes also dismantled, swung hard, and has struck out since winning the Parade. Swing and miss? Sure. But who can feel good when MarCuban is swinging? It's a scary sight. That team has no right to be in these sweepstakes, but yes, they are. I actually believe home-court advantage will prevail. AEG and TWC + Phil will trump all. That will tick me off. But not like it would if DHoHo is ho-ho-ho'ing it up in that north texas prairie town. Hey, Dwight - - if you pick wrong (not TheGoodGuys) go home to Atlanta. I think I could handle that.
Can't stand Palmer. Have never liked him. Huge homer and CRAZY Kobe nuthugger. Still, his confidence concerns me. NO ONE is stepping out there like that saying he's going back to Lakers. Tommy Dee has been the most vocal and positive he's coming to Houston. Palmer stepping out there like that bothers me.
If he's persistent with his story than there may be more to it. If he slowly starts backing off from his approach it was all hot air. If he truly has reliable sources, he will continue to say so.
If he goes to LA he's going to regret it, if he does it shows he's not after winning a ring, and he's more after fame and money
It's houston or LA. He either goes to the team with the best chance to win now or the team with the proven track record where he can be a star in the limelight. Drive his freaking ferrari down beverley hills blvd and be worshipped.
This palmer?

Dwight's current Twitter location: Los Angeles. If Dwight is still making his decision and that's what he told the lakers, then why would they immediately remove those "STAY" posters? Wouldn't they let him see those everyday while he makes up his mind?? I mean, wasnt that the intended purpose?? Since they are removing it right after the meeting either... 1) Most likely he has told them he has a made a decision to not be back with them and they are acting like spoiled brats and taking their toys home with them. 2) Or he told them he will be back as a Laker and they dont want to pay the $18 a day for the posters when they dont need to.
