Kobe - "You want to win, Dwight? Here's how its gonna work. You resign, I come back, I shoot, you rebound. Championship baby." Howard - "...yeah, no. **** you guys, I'm reppin' red next season." --- Nash - "I thought the meeting went well. Very productive."
Yeah, but not before he packs up and gets on a plane. He's not gonna wanna be anywhere near LA when he announces he's jumping ship
To retort: 1. Les pulled the trigger on the Drexler trade. Without that trade, we are NOT back-to-back champions. Period. 2. Les pulled the trigger on the Barkley trade. It got us to the WCF. Not exactly a failure. Could've been better. 3. We drafted Yao when there were a lot of people naysaying that one. That was a smart decision. 4. Les pulled the trigger on the McGrady trade. If Yao and T-Mac didn't suffer the injuries they did, I am confident they would have at least made 1 NBA Finals. Oh, and Cuban did not get Dirk- that was Donnie Nelson. And from all their playoff success, they have 1 championship to show for it. One. Sorry, I don't share the same man-crush you do on Cuban. He gets a ton of credit for the 2011 run. A lot. And just as much blame for f**King it up.
Honestly, the suspense is murdering me. I'm a grown ass man, this is ridiculous. But the stakes are so high. Dwight Howard could turn us into something we haven't been since Hakeem's best years. 10th of July is a long way away.
