Dwights gonna tweet: what up @slimthugga? me and @JHarden13 need a table reserved at dreams July 10th with a bottle of Rose
repost Lakers GM Mitch Kupchak on Dwight: "Jim Buss, Mike D’Antoni, Kobe Bryant, Steve Nash, Tim Harris and I, along with representatives from our partners at Time Warner Cable SportsNet and AEG, met this afternoon for approximately two hours with Dwight Howard and his representatives Dan Fegan and Happy Walters. At the meeting, we told him how important he is to the Lakers team, franchise, fans and community, and why we feel this is the best place for him to continue his career. We are hopeful that Dwight decides to remain a Laker.”
Les inherited Hakeem and a championship team. He tweaked that team (lot Horry and Cassel) and it did not work out for him. And once Hakeem went downhill, so did the Rockets. Rockets have an embarrassing playoffs record under him since. Over the years, Les has made some really boneheaded moves and has said some really stupid things. While Cuban has made some boneheaded moves as well, his Mavs have been much more competitive over the last decade and his teams been to the Finals twice and won once. That team was pretty much built by him.

So did Wilt and Kareem. And Silk. And Mitch. And and and... However, the team du jour is the one in the other locker room with the insane and inhuman owner. How will that turn out?
no he didnt, kobe was the lakers pick from the jump, charlotte was picking for jerry west. they wanted divac. the pick was irrelevant to the hornets all that mattered was getting vlade because they knew LA needed to get rid of him to sign shaq..
Ok, I was getting down there for a bit, but things are starting to look up again. The tone of the Lakers definitely gives the idea that he is not going back to LA. He is done there but as a formality, said he would still think about it once he has time to process all the information from the meetings. Unless there starts being some rumbles about the Mavs trading Marion or someone else, it is an impossibility for them to sign Dwight. Atlanta doesn't seem to excite Dwight. That basically leaves us. Hopefully soon, we see a tweet from Dwight Howard with something like #H-Town.
