Are you familiar with NWA's F the police? You don't think bad cops exist? Or what about a dirty cop? So all cops are good people judging by your knowledge of sorts. How about you give me this one and take a break from this thread, you've posted a bunch already.

I agree, the police should have been more vigilant about telling the guy to make sure his windows were rolled up all the way. It looked like they were rolled up...unfortunately not quite enough.

I would say the lessons to be learned are this. Ranked by stupidity.

1.) Don't go looking to start fight with cops.
2.) After your warned to stop ****ing with the cops, don't keep doing it.
3.) Owners of large dogs (i.e., the person responsible for the dog) should make sure it is completely secure before leaving its presence.
    .
    .
    .
    .
    .
5010.) Before making an arrest, police offers should determine if there are any dogs in cars with halfway-rolled up windows in the vicinity. Then verify those windows are rolled up to a level in which the dog can't worm its way through and attack them.

Yes out of all these mistakes in judgement, lets focus on the last one. Got it.

So lets use your logic. There are bad people who happen to be Muslims out there. So should I go say "*** the Muslims" like you and every other swinging dick that make blanket generalizations like "*** the pigs" or "*** the police". There are bad cops out there just like there are bad people in every line of work, race, religion etc. The intelligent human understands not to make blanket generalizations and instead judge an individual by their actions instead of their line of work, ethnicity, religion etc.

Based on this video I cannot make a accurate judgement on the character of these cops. All I saw was a cop shooting a dog that was about to lunge for an attack.

man that's just a horrible and unfortunate situation. Even though the dog wasn't "attacking" the cop he did look like he may have tried to bite em and cops are people too. Big dogs like that are scary as ****. I hope people just consider this an unfortunate situation and remember the dog as the victim and not turn this into some kind of racial or poe poe hate thing.

Okay, fine. I should lower my expectations of cops. You guys are right.

You just can't admit it when you're wrong. You must be a joy to hang out with.

You guys act like what he did was criminal. He didn't deserve what happened.

The cops made the biggest mistake because it led to them shooting his dog. Give the man time and orders to secure his dog. But I doubt they knew what they were doing.

This. The dude had every right to take video of the operation - it was in a public place. The LEOs really bungled this one, they should have simply ignored him. Or talked to him before just arresting him (for some pretty absurd charges, I think).

I hope the guy sues the F out of that department.

He was blaring his music at a live crime scene... BTW many towns have violations when music reaches certain decibel levels. He purposely did this to antagonize the cops. It isn't like the cops went straight for the arrest. They repeatedly asked him to lower the volume and he did not comply.

And how the **** does anyone know if the cops didn't give the owner proper amount of time to secure his dog? The two officers casually walked up to him. They didn't run after him. The owner could have easily asked if he can make sure his dog is squared away.

I have no sympathy for the dog owner. The dog, different story. He was reacting on natural instinct. Very unfortunate. But why on earth would anyone have sympathy for the dog owner is beyond me.

^The police can do no wrong.

So you're saying they would have been fine with him opening the driver door, getting in, and putting his keys in the ignition to close the windows.

    Okay.

or he could have just secured the leash on a stationary object:confused:

And again.. blanket generalizations.... When did I say they couldn't do any wrong? Just because I believe they did no wrong in THIS ONE PARTICULAR INSTANCE translates into you perceiving my beliefs on law enforcement as "The police can do no wrong"?

He was already going towards his car to put the dog in his car and leave. They started pursuing him when he turned around and walked towards his car. Did you even watch the video?

All they did was walk toward him. I bet you if he started the car and drove off there would have been zero pursuit. But nope... you conveniently left out the part where once the cops did start walking towards him he stopped the process of leaving and started walking towards the officers as if he was was going to confront them.
