Either one of two reasons why: 1) He is celebrating with champagne and steak at a restaurant Or 2) He is totally pissed off and at a loss for words.

Post Lakers Meeting is surprisingly quiet right now. Hmmmm Maybe the "sources" on twitter don't want to be exposed as frauds?
Not saying it happened, but if Dwight opens up with "I am going to Houston and my decision is final. I just wanted to meet with you guys to thank you for everything." then I can definitely see a short meeting.
LakersGround do not seem too confident right now, especially with Coach D and one year Nash being there.
The key thing to remember about the Mavs is that they're still not that close to max room. Unless we hear rumbles about a Vince Carter or Shawn Marion trade into cap space, they can't come very close to the max.
Shaq chose the Lakers. Kobe forced a trade out of Charlotte to LA. So, to a certain extent they chose to go to LA.
What more can they tell them that they hadn't already said to him throughout the season and during the offseason? I'm surprised that people are so surprised it was a short meeting. Instead of a whole presentation, it was probably more of a re-iteration and a "counter" against the other teams involved.
