Man, dumbfounded by this move. Overpaid for this guy by 3-4 million. Oh well, glad it happened to the Spurs.
9 MIL A YEAR!??? After his poor performance in the Finals? Yikes. Why not let him walk and sign someone like Milsap or Jefferson? I don't even..
If he got that, this makes Asiks 8 million contract look like a rookie deal..... Asik is our best trade commodity
Per 36 stats of 15 points, 9 rebs, 2 assists, 1 block on 56% shooting. Not bad, but... not great. However, he is 6'11" and that counts for something, I guess.
hahahaha that charmin p***y was a treat to watch in the finals. i look forward to many more years of him fumbling the ball and getting the **** swatted out of him in that sperms uniform
Lol, the NBA Finals were not the only games of Splitter's career guys. He's really good, the Heat's particular makeup just happened to be a bad matchup for him. In the regular season, dude got 15 and 9 per starters minutes while shooting 56% and playing excellent D. Might be a small overpay but someone else out there was going to overpay him at least as much. Obviously he's not a franchise guy but over the next 5 years I think you're happy if he's the 3rd best guy on the team, and he's paid accordingly.
4 years

There won't be a fifth year on the Splitter deal. The terms will be four years, $36 million-plus, sources tell Y! Not really. Splitter is really good defensively as well. He's better than Asik in the pick and roll. And he can actually catch the basketball. I would rather have Asik but it is quite close.
