I agree, ZM should have minded his own business but not minding your own business is not a crime. Don't forget dude is/was neighborhood watch. He volunteers to NOT to mind is own business and instead mind the entire neighborhoods. I think TM tried to front, show some bravado and didn't realize ZM meant business. The question is can you start a fight and start losing, then claim self defense?
Again though that really isn't in the family's hands but is a decision of the district DA. As I've said before I was surprised with the murder 2 charge and didn't feel that was the case but do still feel that this was a manslaughter. I am not going to call this an accident but this was a culmination of events that was started by Zimmerman deciding to follow Martin. I don't think he intended to kill anyone that night but was reckless and should've been tried for manslaughter. Another poster earlier remarked that the prosecution might've gone with the more serious charge because they know that Zimmerman will be acquitted of it which will pretty much end the issue for the city of Sanford and given how poor of a job they are doing I am starting to wonder if there is actually something to that.

now the med examiner says his injuries weren't serious. poof another lie but someone is still going to say we really don't what happened.
Some of you guys standard for "starting a fight" is pretty surprising. Don't you have to swing first? Any evidence, or even indication, that that is what happened? Doesn't the ME examine dead bodies?
if i don't know you confront you in the middle of the night asking you what you're doing when i have no authority i'm looking for a fight.
Maybe Martin was fed up with Crackas that day and had to break him off a piece. There is no definitive proof that GZ started the fight.
Just after 7 PM is the middle of the night in London. As a neighborhood watch person, some would say that GZ had authority; I'm pretty sure he thought so. He was never evasive with the authorities before things spun out of control. Name. Phone number. Location.
zimmerman can't even lie when he says trayvon said "you got me" was truly stupid and would be hilarious if this wasn't murder zimmerman told hanity he has no regrets, that's despicable

nope -- that's legal you're obviously emotionally involved in this case -- try focusing on the facts instead. it's a more compelling argument otherwise you'll just continue to get toasted in this thread
No it would show a level of contempt that he has toward white people and could support a theory that's why he chose to resolve a problem with his fists with someone he thought was white instead of talking things out. It's the same thing being tossed out at GZ with the hoodie and the fact that GZ dared report a black guy.
