    2 that I've always liked...

Friends of mine had a garage band they called "Furious George". It just fit the music they were playing.

"I Love You But I've Chosen Darkness" is also a favorite of mine. Don't really care for their music but I just like the name.

I love you but I've chosen darkness I liked to. Just like vampire weekend indifferent towards the actual music though.

Because they recorded more rock and roll classics than any other band ever.

Like this one, released almost 50 years ago.

Styx - terrible name, terrible band but possibly the best behind the music EVAR! (for the unintentional comedy).

M.F.S.B. - Supposedly stood for Mothers, Fathers, Sisters and Bothers. A lot of
people thought it stood for Mutha*******Son of a !@#$%.

Korn - really? Korn? Why not Brokkoli or Karrot?

My thought has always been this... if the music is great, the name will fit and nobody will give a ****. That is, until decades later, when people who didn't see them in concert, and didn't experience the excitement we felt about their music when it first came out, look for another topic to talk about.
