    slim has one lane and he makes the most of it, when that big rush of rappers from Houston were getting deals on major labels he got signed by pharrel. dude rapped on neptunes beats the same way he rapped on swisha hosue tapes.. dude never change for anyone. not even for commercial success, he was making more money independent..

    It was all about who you hung out with. Even the bad parts had good people. The "bad stuff" just got most of the attention.

    I have no idea. All I know is that he was the only white kid in the neighborhood and he was 5 foot 3 at best. His immigrant dad ran a grocery store/deli there. He would always say, "no one messes with this northside motherf$cker." lol
