I am not trying to bash. I appreciate what he does but was unclear on how he described his sources on GS. Had to ask

They traded Shaq for Caron Butler/Lamar Odom/Brian Grant... Seems awfully similar, if not worse...

yall are hilarious, its like high school all over again

cyberx gives you simple information, yet "GSW said to have a good meeting" = Dwight is going to the Warriors....

of course GSW is going to say it was a good meeting, but in reality it MAY have gone like this....

    <iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube-nocookie.com/embed/mBb7SdB-i_s" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

jesus, this is why we can't have good things in the BBS, cause of dumbasses that are flaming what we have for the wrong reasons

the annoying thing about this is the the IMs and DMs on Twitter I'm getting as if I'm going to spill out info that I've heard before he reveals it himself, you know who you are.....

chill out, it'll be over in the next few days

that still doesnt make sense right now there payroll is 70,885,328

    2013/2014 salaries

    Bogut: 14,200,000
    Barnes: 2,923,920

    Total: 16,923,920

    70,885,328 - 16,923,920 = 53,961,408

Theres still gonna have to unload ATLEAST 14-15 mil to get dwight for the max

Which means they have to unload: Andrew Bogut, Harrison Barnes,

Plus: Richard Jefferson and brandon rush/klay thompson

    or

    David Lee and brandon rush

CONCLUSION: The Lakers would have to take back ATLEAST 30 million in salary for the next year..... They would have to pay a **** load of TAX.... they would NEVER do that! Plus Daid lee has 3 years remaining in his contract which would hurt there flexibility for next summer.

If your source is saying Golden state is a possibility, they must be high!!!!

Lakers would for sure rather let Dwight walk!

Isn't this the first year that the marginal tax takes effect? That is another huge reason that they'd like to get Dwight or do nothing.

1.) Lamar Odom was a major asset back then, much more than Thompson/Barnes are now

    2.) The luxury tax wasn't a factor

It's the latter that's especially a big deal here.

What push come to shove? the trade off for them is $80-100m or Harrison Barnes, the Lakers have never been financially indiscriminate, they aren't Dallas or NY, and lol @ the person who said Lebron would leave Miami for "upside rookies"

I have a bunch of my Dallas friends retweeted what this idiot Schultz tweeted earlier, does anyone have anything to disprove him so I can get them to shut up?

It would not work, they would still need to throw in LEE..................

Lakers would not take back 30 mil in salary!

He already has. He said his info is from the GS side and doesn't know how willing the Lakers are to pay the tax.

Immediately after posting Dwight-to-Dallas, he stirred a Gortat-to-Spurs rumor that the most plugged in Suns source called "just ridiculous". I think that sums up Schultz's sources.

And Shaq wasn't a young free agent. He was a 30 something fat ass.

I would imagine there is another team out there willing to facilitate if GSW needs them to in the event that Lakers are willing to do a S&T. I am just not sure what it would take. But, doing it alone would be tough and take a lot of creativity. West also knows how to use what the other team wants to his advantage.
