What the.....? Are you serious? Have you followed ANY of the guy's posts - ever? Unbelievable. Yeah, he'll just tell us he's the secretary of Morey's wife's cousin's daughter's husband. That'd make you feel better?
Really wishing Rockets meeting was the last one now. From the reports looks like he was really into his meeting with GSW and will be into the Mavs and Lakers tomorrow, with the lakers meeting probably being the craziest left fresh in his mind for when he makes his choice.
If we don't land Dwight this team is gonna have a HUGE chip on it's shoulder. I think that might be a good thing.
Dude quit while you're ahead, like what would be the point of being an insider if you give up your identity and/or source. Yeezus I cannot wait till this is finally over all you whiners are getting under my skin.
people are completely ignoring the big picture for the lakers regarding the luxury tax. If Dwight leaves, the lakers will get themselves under the luxury tax, by doing so, after next year (since going from full cap space to the luxury tax is impossible) and not paying the tax, they are out of the repeater tax. This is why the lakers won't do a s&t. Anyone who thinks the Lakers will take on $45m tax bill next year, and then lock themselves into the repeater tax for the three years (so potentially another $30-50m) after 2015 for Harrison Barnes is living in another universe.
Sources on GS side of thinking? Not to be rude but what the hell does that mean? I am on the Rockets side of thinking, does that make me a source?
Back to the old "Which rumor do I believe? What sources can I trust? Why would he go there?" situation again. As expected, this is starting to get crazy. We need to get him to agree soon.
The most likely GS package would be Bogut, Barnes, and their best draft picks, which leaves Dwight and the Warriors with Dwight, Lee, Thompson, and Curry.
>be part of GSW, DAL, ATL or LA crew to meet Dwight >he doesn't really seem that interested... >"OH YEAH IT WENT GREAT HE SHOULD BE SIGNING ANY DAY NOW" >be Clutchfans >OHMYGODWHYDOESHOWARDHATEHOUSTONSOMUCHicantbelievethisguychangeshismindsomuchhessuchadiva
More reasonable would be Kobe for Aaron Hernandez. Both horrible people and both not playing again anytime soon. Makes sense for me
They can amnesty Gasol. If LeBron next year is part of that big picture they need these high potential rookie salaried contributing pieces.
Read his post again. Dwight liked the meeting, understandable. Speculation from GS perspective is that he'll try to force a S&T. No need to feel betrayed by Dwight or anything. Anyways, the Warriors are a tax paying team. If Morey filled our roster out to the lux tax, we'd be a tough 2nd round out as well. Point is, they can't get Dwight because they are over-encumbered by their payroll. They aren't much better than us, if at all. We have max cap room, and therein lies the beauty of it all. GSW has to give to get. We just add him.
I'm sure this is posted on an earlier page. I couldn't find it, sorry, but isn't this not allowed under the cba? http://www.thepostgame.com/blog/dish/201307/heres-how-los-angeles-persuading-dwight-howard ^Time Warner working w/ Dwight to have him star in his own TV show? TW, the company that will be SITTING IN on the Laker's pitch (that Stern "surprisingly" okayed) and has a massive TV deal w/ them?
