Look here pimp, I'm a big fan of Harden too. And I knew he would be a beast. But I didn't see 25/5/5 more like 20/5/5. Hats off to you for your prediction. We all get lucky from time to time. Another thong I don't play video games anymore. Been stopped that 10 years ago, so miss me with the wise cracks.
Me too.. I wonder if they would've considered if we had offered T-Rob, Asik, and something else before giving them T-Rob by himself.
Do you really think these owners care about what we think they should do with their money. Les is not browsing through this forum for financial advice. LOL
You honestly think he is top 5? The only thing that I am hopeful of is that it brings in Howard and one of Tjones, Smith or DMo step up, Josh Smith is just not all that great, he is super inefficient outside the paint which is where a PF plays with Howard. But, maybe they use him to bring in Howard a PF steps up and they trade JSmith and the rest of his contract later on. DD
This forums is a trip. A first round exit and nobody except Harden could even sniff the kind of money Josh Smith is going to get and people here are complaining about fg%s and other crap. You know good and well alot of teams would take the guy if they had the same opportunity, its not even close. Sure is alot better than any other PF the Rockets have had since when?
I believe LMA and Love are just on their 2nd contracts. And Smith has already turned down a 3 year $45 million extension from Atlanta. That's $15 million a year right there dude...
In your first post you said players that deserve max money score in the mid 20's. So I was just pointing out that Howard averages 18 per his career and he's asking for $22 million a year. If Howard is worth every penny of $22 million, then we shouldn't need freaking Josh Smith. But obviously he isn't.
He doesn't have to convince them of anything. All he has to do is tell them he want's to sign with Houston and for them to do the sign and trade. It's not a smart move to not oblige and use the ****tyness of the other teams that want him s leverage to give him to stay.
What u guys discuss!! Nothing is certainly sure, Morey is only looking for opportunity now. U can't expect to get all the best on one day, but u must try to become better and better
David Lee? lol he's a pretty good offensive player and the worst defensive player in the league at his position (19.6 PER on an all offense player isn't that good).
Howard is worth $22m and then some, the problem is the teams we need to beat have multiple players worth way more than their contract gives them.
Then that means Howard isn't worth $22 million... That is if he wants to be on a team with two other star players. And Josh Smith is no star player by the way...
