for all those GSW fearers, you got ask what is it in for Dwight in that deal? more money? no better teammates than Houston? Harden vs Curry, i dont think they have better better management team? no state tax? still in California better big man coach? no better med/train team? no, look at Curry's ankle and Lee's wutever piece of **** injure he has Basketball operation is complex, and Houston got the better package than GSW
You are mostly right. LAL will only do a SnT for a bonafide star. Klay/Harrison/Bogut. LOL yeah right.
] Yikes. Kobe loves Harrison Barnes too. "Harrison Barnes, he’s like a little brother to me. There’s guys in the league that I definitely look out for and try to steer them in the right direction." http://bluemanhoop.com/2013/06/08/kobe-bryant-says-harrison-barnes-is-like-a-little-brother-to-him/ GS has the expirings to make the money work. http://youtu.be/ap5Sw3xsZhU
First, they Lakers get a talented cheap piece like Harrison Barnes and/or Klay Thompson who will help bolster their talent level for years to come without hurting their 2014 cap space. Second, I think the Lakers can avoid much of the luxury tax even while taking back $ in a Howard S&T (will have to be $16M+ for contract matching purposes, I think). Specifically, they can do it by either trading Gasol for little $ in return or by amnestying Gasol. Also, if the matching contract is Bogut's, he likely has some trade value and the Lakers should be able to move his salary.
LeBron has a taste of both winning and losing in the Finals. He has no desire to go "backwards". He stays in Miami or goes back to Cleveland, I believe. No way he follows in Kobe's footsteps.
Dwight can like Golden State as much as Houston all he wants, but he'll be in Rocket Red next week. The Lakers have no reason to SnT him to a division rival, not with them in luxury tax hell, and 2014 has Andrew Wiggins headlining the draft class.
Lebron is not going to go for another rebuild around him process, he had Wade and Bosh and it still took him 2 years, to get him to leave, as little chance as it will be, it will have to be an already in place roster.
Well the GS reports mean that Dwight cares about winning. That's about the only positive thing to take out of that.
Maybe he will be in rocket red next week. How long before he starts angling for a trade to golden state because he got a hangnail from walking in houston?
