Update: GSW had a "great meeting" with Howard and his reps.
(I know I KNOW, I am so shocked... I never thought they had a chance in hell)

Dwight liked what he heard and there is SOME speculation that he will tell the Lakers, S&T to the Warriors, or I bolt for Houston.

    NO BASHING.

If that's the case... Los Angeles will fold & do the sign & trade. No way they let Howard walk when they could potentially snatch Harrison Barnes.

If this is the truly case, I'm sick of this guy. Once again we are being used as leverage.

If that't the case, I think they let him bolt. They will not take on salary, and trade him within the division.

Here you go (Not Jr though :))

(On Vibe in Houston) Emphasis from Dwight is winning championships. Considering teams that mesh with this window. Lakers and Mavs have "best" players that are old and his window may close when they aquire better talent around him. In Houston he can play with a young superstar and a great young core that will grow with him.

Asks how are they continuing to build. Rockets outlined plans to build a contender.

(How appealing is Mchale?) Intrigued by Kevin, Dwight knows that his players like him. As a big man McHale is a good teacher and likes teaching his craft. Has wanted a big man since he became the coach. McHale wants offense built around paint and wants Dwight to be focal point.

(Fan Vibe) Fans really want Howard. Debate in the months leading up to FA but now people are more hyped. Want to add the next great Rockets big man.

(Hakeem and Yao Impact) Want him to feel very comfortable with choosing the rockets. Comparisons to college recruiting, want Dwight to feel welcome. Houston's pitch "Welcome to the Club, You can become one of us". The word "Fit" was thrown around a lot.

Closing points, If he stays in LA you have Shaq and Kobe taking shots. While in Houston you have Hakeem and Drexler reaching out and making you feel welcome. Contrasting situations.

Would they trade within the division?

damn...that would suck balls if at the end of the day he goes to GS, but I think if he takes a look at the legacy our big guys left, he'll pick Houston

I definitely believe CyberX but I just don't get it. If LA signs D12 and sends him to GSW, it will rob them of the depth that makes them good. Plus, I don't think he stays in Cali. It would still be a bit toxic up there IMO.

Hell no. Who from the GSW can throw up 30-40 points if they really need it. It would be like orlando all over again.
