BOOM, I called it like 5 or 6 pages ago, someone would come along and report it again... Already been reported about a dozen times in this thread. Please read the last 10-20 pages for significant updates...
That's pretty much it though, things are moving. You say that these teams all haev backup deals...that is until one player goes elsewhere. These other players are not going to wait around, it's not like the NFL. They are going to take the best deal they can get and then accept it. Yes some people are waiting for Dwight but not all of them as we've seen. Celtics could be shopping Rondo...and what if Dallas loses out on that deal because Boston is trading him elsewhere? Remeber now, Boston was said to want to unload contracts...so Dallas can't commit to that deal AND the Howard deal at the same time. Meanwhile the Clippers are shopping Bledsoe around but can't make ANY deals until this Dwight thing is resolved.
What do I gain from BS-ing? This is an article about the presser but it's not the site with the video. http://www.fibre2fashion.com/news/apparel-news/newsdetails.aspx?news_id=67580 From memory I originally saw the clip on a local NJ media website likely through Google News. I did find this from our good friend pryuen.
Duncan NEVER tore his ACL wth are you taking about? He tore his lateral meniscus which is COMPLETELY different.
I dont buy it. What are they thinking of discussing? Our crappy CSN deal? I think if howard signs here, not only will the other networks think it is now lucrative to license games from CSN, but the revenue going to Les and Co. would be huge!
Dude same here and the worst part about it is today is my ANNIVERSARY... its bad.... im in the dog pound for a while.... but its like a addiction you cant control it...lol
LOL, I HOPE Dallas loses out on Rondo waiting for Dwight. Sure some guys are going to move, some teams are still going to make moves, but alot of it - at least the parts that we really care about - is going to be able to wait for a few days. We are fortunate, we can pretty much stand pat if need be and still be OK no matter how it turns out. I don't care if other teams lose out waiting on Dwight. For God's sake, man, no one can even sign until the 10th. We're still in moratorium. There is plenty of time to get things done. It doesn't all have to happen within the next week. And it won't. Calm down, and be patient. It's not like we have a choice anyway, right?
im not down for a 3rd star. for a big 3 the 3rd star has to be mid level all star. unless he's good with smith as the 3rd guy, not for the max, id rather build around james and dwight.
Certainly I agree 100%. I am conflicted with the reports of what the Rockets representatives have said versus other sources like cyberx. The Rockets side has said Dwight wants to win and that's his prime concern. Cyberx has said Dwight loves the LA lifestyle and attention and seemed to imply that it means more. I also think if you connect the dots of what the Rockets reps have said and the reports that the Rockets are preparing pieces to go around Dwight then I think things would indicate the Rockets are likely getting Dwight. If all the Lakers can offer are celebs and a tv show and that's what he wants....well then I don't want him. If you go by what the Rockets have said and seem to be doing and if you think Morey and crew are not stupid and have a decent feel for the situation then we are getting Dwight.
I believe it is only if the company offering the incentive is affiliated with the team. Otherwise, whether it is a Chinese company or Nike, I don't think there are rules that would punish a team if an unrelated entity decides to pay a guy for doing endorsement because he's in a more visible market to their intended audience.

Well I hope Dallas loses out too, but the point is if they were to lose out on Rondo or Bledsoe because of Dwight then yeah...it would matter. That's the thing. The 10th is just the day teams can officially sign, these things are all done and agreed to in principal well before that any ways. I'm calm, but you said him dragging it out wouldn't matter too much and yeah it does matter. Maybe not to the Rockets but it does to some other teams like Dallas and all I've said is that I'm pretty sure all 5 teams involved would appreciate him making his decision in a timely manner instead of dragging it out and trying to make some huge announcement of it. That way they can move on with or without Dwight.
