I agree. Also he could have met with Dwight every single day during the season. That probably would have been a good time to start the wooing process instead of waiting until a few days before free agency. Even if LA wins, their pride nearly cost them Dwight. In contrast the clippers (!) locked up Paul almost immediately.
You have to look at the grammar & punctuation: The Rockets meeting went well. The Hawks meeting went "well" Example: Hawks Meeting: It went..."Well" Rockets Meeting: "It went well" Spoiler
I appreciate cybrex and I am sure it's what he has heard But others have also spoken about Hakeem's influence and judging by the way Howard acted in that video with Hakeem and him training. I am gonna go with Hakeem made a significant impact on Howard, and it did matter he was there and he will have a significant roll moving forward. Shoot you don't pay 50,000 a day for someone's advice unless it matters to you

Different sources (Doc Rocket's; Cyberx's) are going to say different things. But it's all part of the same larger picture. That's why it's great to have different "insider" info on here, different points of view. I'm excited. But it's hard to get excited where Dwight is involved because you never quite know what he's going to do or what will sway him. I hope we get him. But if we don't, I'll be ok with that also. I definitely don't think Morey is going to move either Asik or Lin until he knows what Dwight will do. So, that's good (IMO).

Finally caught up this entire thread! Only took me about 12 hours... Didn't get crap done today. I have a hard time believing that someone could actually be as flaky as being swayed by an actor's phone call in a decision that will guide the rest of their life. But I guess it's possible. I still think he's coming here.
