Man if DH goes elsewhere after what Houston rolled out, it would be a swift kick straight to the groin of HO and karate chop to CD forehead!!
Thanks for the info cyberx. I hope people don't freak if your information goes a complete 180 degrees in a day or two, because as we can already see by some reports, either the media is spinning things around or (the more likely case) D. Howard's indecisiveness is kicking in soon with all the goodies offered by other teams, especially the Lakers. I think the Lakers could have a pretty decent grasp on the kind of character Dwight really has during his time in L.A., so it's worrisome that they might have something that really appeals to his inner self.
I just hope Dwight at least has the courtesy to end this before the 10th. Like Wednesday or Thursday.
Uh oh Jordan Schultz @Schultz_Report Forget that Dwight Howard met w/Rockets first. Great source confirms Dwight Howard is likely to sign with the Dallas Mavericks. 2:07 PM - 1 Jul 2013
tommy snyder @TWSnyderman WHO ARE U RT @Schultz_Report: Yes, it is still early in Howard talks, but I can all but confirm that GS is out. Mavs likely to ink the deal. Jordan Schultz @Schultz_Report @TWSnyderman @daskins_21 I'm the guy who broke Ray Allen and Camby deals last summer 2:29 PM - 1 Jul 2013
Don't see it. He'll be signing here when the dust settles. If he really wanted to be a Laker, it would've been over before the offseason started, or handled like CP3. Plus, he can reside in LA in the offseason and still be a Rocket.
This is basically a complete contradiction with what we know of the Lakers' campaign (Hollywood connections) as well as the most recent posts from cyberx. I don't know which is right, but there's definitely some misinformation being spread. Either the "I want to win a ring" is PR speak, or folks within his agency are guessing about the entertainment stuff based on past decisions of his. Hopefully the latter.
Well, each city has its pros and cons: LA Pro - Hollywood - Tradition - better contract - chance of adding a big free agent 2014 Con - old team - Kobe is injured - uncertain future - extra pressure - only slim chance of winning a title soon Dallas Pro - will be his team (including decision for the roster) - Cuban - no state income tax - Dirk fits his playing style Con - roster not good enoug to win a championship - no cap space - not many assets to improve the team Golden State Pro -great group of young players -a legit star in Curry -can stay in California -team might be good enough to be championship contenders for years to come Con -needs to be a s&t so some good players will be come -worst possible contract because of state income tax -Curry is injured a lot Houston Pro -great combination of young players -a legit star in Harden -might add another piece with Asiks contract -no state income tax -great marketability in China -should be a championship contender for years to come -Coach McHale Con -Harden would still be the man -lacks a marquee coach (yeah, McHale is both a pro and a con) -uptempo style In my mind Houston offers by far the best package. The question is: what does Howard value the most. If it is winning, he has to go to Houston!
U never know with Dwight...maybe he wanted to be courted hes never been a free agent u know...dont get your hopes up
