Well stated. I agree on Doc being affiliated with the Rockets, but Cyber seems to be more associated with the agency side, imo. I've seen nothing that pins him to a particular team.

Exactly. If Cyberx is right then Dwight is still the same, a big baby who doesn't care a bout winning. Olajuwon flew in to meet with you and you couldn't care less? A man that doesn't respect the Rockets history should not be on the team, period!

Could someone explain Doc Rocket's legitimacy to me? Cyberx has revealed lots of information to us in the past with no cryptic stuff/room for interpretation. I basically skip DR stuff because I don't enjoy riddles. Seems like a cool guy, but is his information credible in the way that cyberx's is?

Hakeem is not going to take a formal coaching position. He doesn't live here. He lives in Jordan where his family is. Yes, he has a home and business interests in Houston, but this is no longer his home.

Yes, but that presumes Hakeem would want a coaching role. From what I have read he has lots of other business commitments.

I am in no competition with ANYONE.

I respect everyone. I am sure Doc has his ways of getting scoops, as do I...

I may even have met Doc and not have known it.

Just because Doc and I say something, it doesn't mean we know 100% sure it is happening. You are only as good as your sources. At times, things take a complete 180.

Dwight is so crazy, he can't keep up with himself.

Meh... of course the Lakers have a good chance at resigning Howard. He spends a lot of time in LA and as far as I know, lives there. He has a pre-existing relationship with the Lakers, he likes all the media attention. The Lakers almost always get their man, and the recent Championships and history help...... all of that stuff is hard to overlook.

Having said that, the Rockets have done everything they can to get Howard to play in Houston. They have assembled a good, young, talented team. They have great cap flexibility. They have done everything possible to make him feel special (Hakeem, etc.). They have even offered him input on the direction of the team.

We will know soon....... I think it will be close, but Howard just wants to feel important to the Lakers.

Does Dwight really want a lame duck 1st year waiting for fa to sign next year. I highly doubt that. He's not getting any younger and if they want to contend they can't rely on giving free agents one year deals this year. It would suck to lose out on Dwight because the thought of signing some one trick ponies with all our cap would suck. But in morey I trust

    Too many signals crossed here.

I guess so far the only proven thing is that DH12 is an attention w****, the big kid who loves everyone telling him how wonderful he is.

Of course I hope he signs here. If he does stay in L.A., then it'll be all the Hollywood crap, the movie stars sitting courtside. All that "tell me, Daryl, about the direction of the team and how we'll win" will have been b.s.

Tough to get a read on it. Maybe tougher for him. Win + less glamour? Suck for a year + movie stars kissing my sack?

Lakers may have finally realized that even if they don't love DH12 the player they can't have the humiliation of losing a player of his caliber. Until now they've been daring him to leave. Now they'll beg him to stay.

The truth of the matter is. Cyber is most likely speaking with agents and those in that field. Cyber also seems to have a friend who isn't feeding him propaganda or media spin, just what he is hearing around the office (maybe with Relativity). Doc is most likely talking to those within the Rockets organization with more optimism for the situation. Doc may even have a source that knows something that no one but a select few knows. Cyber may also know someone like that. Just because they say different things doesn't mean either is feeding us bs.

(Just curious on Why Morey would be talking to Smith the next day after
the Dwight meeting) especially if Dwight doesnt care to play with Josh Smith...

Dont think that is Morey's plan B option.. (Wouldnt you think it would be something that Dwight would like) but who knows i dont have the sources and i respect and believe what you heard.

If you mean me, I ain't walking on no f**king eggshells, sir. I always appreciate insider info regardless of the outcome. Basketball's not my life, sorry to say. Love it, but it ain't the end-all, be-all, either.

I was more referring to the hakeem thing. About him not having a defined role, and him not caring he was there.

I understand the rest is speculation based on your intel.
