Regardless of the outcome, many of us sincerely appreciate you taking the time to post here and harbor no ill feelings. Much appreciated, sir.
I don't think he's biased..and I don't care. I do think the substance of what's being shared is extremely personal, nuanced and detailed..down to what he thought about the presence of someone who was in the room at a meeting. That's seems a little....I don't know.
just like i said earlier....any reporter/source that hears something different than what clutchfans wants to hear is a homer/hater
Lets assume they are both 'insiders'. Does that mean they have the same information? I think not. Maybe Doc knows something cyberx doesn't know, or vice versa. I'd like to guess that Doc is involved more with the Rockets organization and CyberX with the Lakers organization, but that could be completely wrong. Just trying to think outside the box for a second.
Would you guys just take cyberx's info as what it is: information. Choosing to read his comment about Hakeem as disrespect is all reading comprehension. It seemed pretty obvious that it was directed at him not being an everyday presence. Thanks, as always, cyber!
Keep doing what your doing. Upset if Rocket didnt offer Hakeem a coaching role. That would have sealed it.
It doesn't serve Dwight well (from his brand and a negotiation standpoint) having people think that he made up his mind without considering the other teams or that he wasted the other team's time in meetings. As someone else pointed out, Schultz also delivered the info for a "source" that he was willing to sit out a year, which would have never happened and only helped DH's camp.
How come you are reporting it's a close race but Doc Rocket has been saying Dwight has wanted to be here since Febuary? No disrespect intended of course, it's just odd to me.
CyberX thanks for everything you do for this board. You have made this whole process more enertaining x 10.........
Thanks for the info Cyber. Do you happen to know what the Rockets plans are should Dwight sign elsewhere? I'm assuming Josh Smith is plan B but besides him do they have anyone else in mind they're trying to trade for?
Absolutely! This is the impression I get from him one hour, but then in the next hour a bunch of tweets and comments show up about how he's just about winning. Followed by another barrage of tweets that say he's really excited to see what entertainment options the Lakers present to him. I just cannot get a read on his character. The word 'fit' was apparently mentioned a lot during the Rockets' meeting, and while it's true from the basketball sense, it can't be true from the personality sense. The Rockets are a hard working & accountable organization, and this guy seemingly isn't. I hope he is, but I don't have that impression so far.
