He doesn't have much interest in playing with his childhood friend. Not that he is opposed... Just doesn't care.
Marc Stein v.2 Rockets the favorite? I have them as a slight favorite. If you polled people around the league, they would list them as bigger favorites and if you talk to the Rockets, the execs and agents who talk to them say they come away confident and think they have it locked up. The fact the Rockets are possibly looking to move Asik and Lin, they think they got him. I would not be that confident if I were think. History tells us with Howard, until he signs, we won't know. I will say I do think he's coming to Texas. I can only go slight favorites for the Rockets at this point. ... You don't want to spend too much time talking about the other team. The pitch is "We have proven we can get to a championship." Basically, with that Dirk pay cut thing, next year we'll be good, the next year we'll be even better. Dirk will take a pay cut, we'll get another good player and Dirk will slide into the three role. The Cuban relationship with Dwight, I think they'll connect. I see them hitting it off. Two year plan even with Dwight? Realistically, yes. If they got Dwight, you know they'll step up their efforts to get Rondo. Right now, they have nothing that interests Boston. If they use the cap space to sign Dwight, I don't know how they'll pull it off. You'd have to get other teams involved and the Mavs don't have picks. If you get Dwight, you've done the hard work and the pieces will be easier to snap into place. When will he make a decision? People are saying this week. I'm not sold. He's prone to waffling. He says he wants it to be over. Maybe he already knows and these meetings are window dressing. I think he'll need at least the rest of this week to sort this out. Where would you go if you were Dwight? Hard to believe he'd walk away from the Lakers but he seems miserable there. The Lakers are trying so hard to convince him to stay but I don't even know if their heart is in it. Houston because they have Harden is more ready made but the Mavs have a much better coach and Dirk's paycut pitch intrigues me. You won't find a superstar more willing to sacrifice than Dirk. Dwight is going to be the man here. That would be important to him. He'll have to share that with Harden in Houston. What can LA say? I'm skeptical but they'll say you're the guy we want to build around. You saw Nash's tweet about building him a statue. Kobe and Nash are trying to convince him it's his team. Last year felt like three years for everyone in LA. It was eye opening for Dwight to be in that fish bowl, where you can't tie your shoe without twenty cameras in your face. I don't think he's comfortable there. I think he'll be happier in Dallas or Houston. That's why I think he's gonna leave.
I'm not really doubting that some "source" did tell him that Dwight to Dallas is likely, I'm just doubting if that source is Mark Cuban or Dirk or some other Mavs employee. Reporting contrary news is kind of win-win for him, gets his name noticed and page visits, and if it doesn't happen he has the "I'm not guaranteeing he is going to the Mavs" comment to fall back on. If he is right then he "broke the news first".
how does he feel about ice cream? what's his fave flavor? did he dream at all last night? was it about anything in particular?

Hell I just broke wind! How likely is it that it has an aroma? Everybody wants to be an insider now that Twitter is mainstream. Call me old school but I will wait to see what actually happens.
My last intention is to question the credibility of cyberx or Doc Rocket, but how come cyberx is still saying it's a close race for Dwight's services but Doc Rocket said that Dwight has wanted to come here since the All Star Break?

So if I tell you he has commited to the Lakers and is about to sign the dotted line, that means I LOVE my Lakers? I don't care where he goes, it has NO correlation to me at all. I am giving you facts. If I give one negative thing about the Rockets, that means I am going for the Lakers? Dwight wants to be HOLLYWOOD - he loves the fact that Jack called him. He likes feeling that star power. As with Hakeem, he appreciated him being there etc, but it will not affect him because he does not care about people that aren't going to be there after FA period. This is just how it is... ALSO - He doesn't care if Phil is there (which I read somewhere he won't be) if he doesnt have a LONG/DEFINED role.
Tired of this s**t. If it's true that he's enamored with basketball legend Jack Nicholson...actually, scratch that. Who knows what's true and what's false? Good luck to him wherever he goes.
Lol **** all this, twitter its r****ded. You have a bunch of grown men dick ridding Howard like he's a god, its just a guy who plays basketball.
Didn't everyone know Allen was going to the Heat before the season was even over? It was a foregone conclusion when they were playing the Celts in the playoffs last year.
