you think maori would be a dick enough to have parsons involved in a trade for that next all star even though parsons has been so big in the recruitment of dwight? haha But Mr. Murray, i poop from there! Not right now you don't, Chandler.

the question is... does HE think HE'S good enough without that third so-called superstar. frankly i'm a little tired of all these superstars wanting everything set up for them already and all they have to do is suit up and play ball. there's no sense of building a team, growing a team, maturing, carrying a team.. smh.
If his 3's were only open shots, maybe only in the corner, it'd be ok, no Love, but they're ok, in Atlanta he basically shoots at least 1 god awful fadeaway 3 a game because their offense is so static. On defense I feel sorry for him, he's basically the only guy they had that could guard 1-3 and yet he's better defending 4's.
I think it was a few years ago but Smith shot the three at a much lower clip, and that ended up being his best year as a PRO.
If you believe that bogus information then that's on you. Why would you meet with any player for 5 hours without a contract in hand, that your reportedly extremely high on but your planning on meeting with Iggy to? That does not make any sense to me. Heck the Rockets meeting with Howard started around 9:30 and only lasted an hour and a half. And that's with Hakeem, Clyde, Les, Morey, Yao via Skype and more lol. Believe what you want. If Doc Rocket confirmed this then there is truth in Smith being apart of that meeting somehow.
Maybe with so many other shooters around him, and a couple of superstars, Josh won't feel like he needs to take those 3's.
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p>That's not to say the Rockets aren't trying to get Smith, but it wasn't a part of their pitch to Howard.</p>— Yannis Koutroupis (@YannisHW) <a href="https://twitter.com/YannisHW/statuses/351744067106902018">July 1, 2013</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script> we were all wrong about the smith part
The Lakers can't just buy up bad contracts of good players anymore, or sign free agent after free agent, without running into punishing luxury tax payments. The Lakers are willing to swallow hard and give Howard $118 million, and they'd be willing to pay up to $70 million this year in taxes, but they can't bring in anyone else to a team that got swept by the Spurs in the first round. There are limits, even to the coffers of a team with a $3 billion local television deal. NBA.com Read more at http://hoopshype.com/rumors.htm#4EUYoQJzw5sCof6t.99
F###ing LakersGround thread is trashing the Rockets at every turn. Making fun of our 2 titles and trashing our legends like Hakeem.
If Josh Smith will sign for $12M, we could do: Asik $8.3M + Lin $8.3M = Josh 12M + ???? PG 4M Not saying this has to be one package. If someone like Calderon would take 4-4.5M, then Lin to Detriot and Asik to Atlanta would make this all work. Just one scenario here.
