Gee..i still don't know about getting JSmoove just bc hes D12's buddy. Can he really fit in with our guys+Dwight? I'm not so sure. I'd rather have Ryan Anderson at like 8 mil for 3 more years instead of a near maxed out Josh Smith taking shots he can't make all game long.
Why should he do that when he can sit back and have all these franchises line up to kiss his ring and stroke his ego? No, this "charade" (an excellent choice of words) will be with us for some time. Meanwhile, up here in Dallas, it's all Dwight all the time as Cuban & Co try to snooker the MFFLs for one more season. I do admit that I got a nice chuckle from Raising Cane's Chicken: Raising Cane’s marketing manager Adam Reed says that if Howard signs with the Mavericks, “he will be welcome to come by any of our (20) local restaurants to enjoy seriously delicious chicken fingers at any time, on us, for the rest of his life.” Now who can resist THAT offer?
Dwight's such a drama llama I don't care all that much if land him or not. We get him? Great. We don't? Fine.
Agreed.... The team as constructed made it to the playoffs and gave OKC a run for its money....WITHOUT Dwight. With him we will be loads better...but to bend over backwards to appease him....why not just make him the GM too?
I think a Howard/Smith/Parsons/Harden 4-some would be lethal. Surround them with shooters and good complimentary players, and you have a team that can beat Miami. The Rockets need to move Lin and Asik to make this happen.
Don't wanna kill the vibe - but I have to say, I feel a little uneasy about totally dismantling our core. I understand that the ring is the goal, but I have to wonder how large of a role chemistry played in our success this season.
It's from Baton Rouge. Their corporate office is still there. Dallas WAS the first city they branched out to.
