Link As the NBA free agency period gets underway, it appears Kyle Korver is about to come to full-circle back to the team that drafted him. Multiple sources told SNY.tv early Monday morning that a deal that would land the free agent, sharp-shooting swingman with the Nets is, ‘all but done.’ As expected, the deal will be completed for the team’s mini mid-level exception. The mini-MLE is a three-year deal totaling approximately $10 million. <blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p>Says one rival GM with interest in one of this summer's most coveted shooters: "Hearing Korver to Brooklyn is in the bag"</p>— Marc Stein (@ESPNSteinLine) <a href="https://twitter.com/ESPNSteinLine/statuses/351569227775344640">July 1, 2013</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
they have an entire lockerroom full of has-beens now.......mated with a rookie head coach nets front office is logic-challenged to say the least
That's a really good fit for him but I can't believe he's settling for that kind of money. Hope that means the guys Morey wants if Dwight comes here will take peanuts.
KG is still probably the GOAT locker room guy though. That is a great move. Korver is perfect with Reggie Evans and KG illegal screens.
Really? He's gotten into fights with teammates and his "no-laughing" policy seems to slowly but surely drive teammates insane. I'm not even sure you're allowed to smile until the offseason when you play with KG.
Very solid pick-up for the Nets. Korver is basically automatic from long range. The type of player teams tend to forget about on loaded teams like the Nets.
I thought he was going to go to the Heat and camp on the perimeter with Ray Allen, Shane Battier, and Mike Miller. Surprised he didn't shop around a bit longer, but I guess those relationships with Deron Williams et. al were strong.
I don't see it. This feels like last years Lakers team. One or more of the old guys will break down. I don't see them being better than Chicago, Indi, NY or Miami.
