Now the waiting game begins
Your right Iggy does not make any sense from a Rockets stand point. But the big domino that has to fall to make Harden/Howard/Smith happen is Lin. Asik will be easy to move IMO and I do think that there is a market out there for JLin too. If I had to guess right now I would say that the 76er's and the Jazz make the most sense right now for a team looking to acquire a starting point guard. And with the 76er's I don't think they want a rookie PG running that team with NO NBA EXPERIENCE.
Wait, so apparently Josh Smith was at the dinner as well? AND Iggy? I don't think Iggy was there because of this tweet, but maybe he was informed of the plan? <blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p>That crazy as hell... <a href="https://twitter.com/__________">@__________</a> just texted me! <a href="https://twitter.com/search?q=%23FA&src=hash">#FA</a></p>— Andre Iguodala (@andre) <a href="https://twitter.com/andre/statuses/351568548738510848">July 1, 2013</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script> <blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p>Stop saying Kobe. I hope by the time Howard gets to the Lakers that he's tired of being pitched to. If I were the Lakers I would have gone first. Nothing like a first impression after all.
What makes me happy, among other things, is that there is almost certainly a plan that has been made. And when plans are made, things like "yeah I'll take less money to come play with you" get done. To me, this sounds like Dwight and one of his buds (Iggy or Smith) could be on the way to Houston. And if Dwight is making plans like this, that means he's probably made the choice to go to Houston. Or is heavily leaning that way, or at least is heavily leaning that way if the Rockets will "play ball" on the plans he and his buds are making. Very good news.

les is hell bent on bringing a winner back to Houston. As a owner the guy gets a bad rep. He has never stepped back and not tried to put together a winner.
