Traditionally in sales, you want to be either the first one in or the last one in. Those are the pitches that he will remember the most. So Mitch is trying to cover his bases by being both. lol
Yeah they are. They have Richard Jefferson, Andries biedrens, David lee, and bogut who they would have to dump for cap space. You do realize they have 70ish commimited to next season right?
I really dislike Markazi, he's as much of a Laker homer as Simmons is with Boston but he has no talent. I don't understand how he ended up on ESPN, he's not funny, his voice is annoying. I hope Markazi is fired soon after this saga.
LA moreso than Houston's Missing out on Dwight would suck but we would still have cap space and be up and coming. If LAL loses out on Dwight, its full on rebuild mode
Many writers in the internet are agenda-driven. Markazai is up there as one of the worst. Total Lakers homer. Very much anti-LeBron to protect Kobe. He had a piece about LeBron in Vegas a few summers ago. Got taken down by ESPN because apparently Markazai didn't tell LeBron's gang he was doing a story on the evening. Something like that. Then, he threw a "nyah-nyah" party when Howard signed with the Lakers last year, saying now LeBron would be scared, all of this. He's not so good, but there are many others like him. His absurd stuff with LeBron, though, does make him stand out.
Lakers wouldnt want LEE..... stupid contract... rather have from for next year and not pay luxury tax this year
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet"><p>Lakers source says the're still "optimistic" they can sign Howard and have a few "surprises" for him during their meeting.</p>— Arash Markazi (@ArashMarkazi) <a href="https://twitter.com/ArashMarkazi/statuses/351576722858188804">July 1, 2013</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
And how was this short call going to really be a pitch? Sounds like an annoyance more than anything else.
