One of the most elegant, epic, adieu/pwnage I've ever read. Journalist? At the very least, someone with a strong writing background.
Hey, most people grow up and move on from Clutchfans at some point. Probably a good thing in some ways.
Gawd I hate you f'n n00bs and morons that wanna challenge everything an.actual insider shares with us. Bunch ungratefuls.
First of all, I saw this on the thread -- it needs more attention folks, because it is freaking hilarious. Second of all -- Doc, your posts are awesome and the threads they generate are great surreal fun. Like getting high and talking to your friends about David Lynch's Twin Peaks means or something. Far out. Anyway, to everyone else, who is Doc Rocket? He was obviously close to Rudy T, seems like maybe a former player under Rudy or even a team mate of his. One who loves the Rockets like a family and not like an employee, one who still has contacts with the administration of the team. I mean... the person that comes to mind first for me is Calvin Murphy. I've heard people say Bullard often...I can see that. But I don't see him calling out special love to Francis. Hmmm...who was a Rudy T favorite during the Francis era that really enmeshed himself into Rocket's culture?
This is why the GARM was so much better a few years ago, we didnt have "tough" kids around here. I dont post much in the GARM now, but I always enjoyed Doc messages, they are at least entertaining.
I have a hunch Doc has been "grown up" for quite some time now. Also, there's a difference between not posting as much because you think you need a break, and essentially being "run off" by a bunch of immature spastic walking dildos in dire need of an enema.
Thanks alot people, you have successfully chased away one of the most interesting posters this site has ever had, and probably the most connected insider it's had. The CF is diminished. but on the flipside... Looks like we're getting Dwight, and Morey's master plan is finally coming to fruition. Or, the organization and team we all love just took a big nosedive off a cliff. Either way, we live in interesting times.
This is bull****. I used to lurk for years and made an account because of Doc's posts. If it weren't for rumors, speculation there wouldn't be a clutchfans. The fun isn't the news but the experience. The excitement of speculation. Sad day.
