Get Ilasova from the Bucks. He's a 6'10 SF / PF. He shot 44% from the 3 last year. 26 years old. He would be perfect. If we could trade Lin + 2nd round picks, we maybe able to pry him away. They need PGs.

SnT Calderon at the MLE + Detroit future 1st could work. Calderon doesn't have to start. He can backup Beverley and still get his minutes.

What major free agent has Morey tried to pursue other than Bosh?

I would be really sad to see Asik go. Even though it would make The Rockets a contender with Dwight I'm in love with Asik. #Homo.

great point, hot balla. I got carried away and smoked some of the same crack the lohs smoke when I said ainge would help out mchale. It rarely happens.
Personally, I'd keep Lin bc I do believe he will be worth his contract and more by the age of 27. Then again, I thought Lowry and Dragic should have stayed and we all know how that happened.

Asik & lin, Just flee the country. And don't let daryl walk you into to a garage or sit behind you in a car. :p

I hope we can keep both Lin and Asik. Not overly excited about DH, just interested to see what DH can bring to that team we had this year.

Offensively he's better....but only slightly if you ask me.

Defense Lin is VASTLY superior to Calderon.

I was hoping for Calderon last season. He always in the tops in terms of assist/turnover ratio and he is a great passer who can knock down an open shot.

The cards will fall where they will. The men running the show are in charge of making educated guesses as to where they will fall, and when.

With all do respect Morey's staff > You. In any case, none of the speculation on CF has much effect on the real world.

Man, I can't wait for the influx of Dwight only Fans, and clutch fans having many arguments about people only liking Rockets because of Dwight. And all the bandwagoners that come with being a contender.

Smith will likely get what Asik & Lin make combined. How about this one:

    Beverly/Canaan
    Harden/Iguodala
    Iguodala/Parsons
    Parsons/Jones/D-Mo/Smith
    Howard/Dalembert

Leaves the PG spot as a bit of a question mark, but Morey has always stood by his ability to find available distributors. Looks incredibly versatile on paper.

The lakers failed because they weren't healthy not because of chemistry

If we're not getting all-star level return, don't bother.

I doubt we get swap Lin and Calderon. Calderon is ball-dominant too and his defense is worse than Lin's. We were terrible defensively last year-we need better defensive players!!

Wow x 10. Morey must be really confident in being to nab Howard.

I love Asik and I like Lin. Too bad for them, but we are appear to be moving in a different direction: true contenders.
