Honestly Im absolutely against trading Omer. I think Omer's quiet demeanor is what makes him such a valuable center, practically the opposite of Dwight (personality wise). Im hoping that Omer's hardworking "keep quiet and play ball" personality will rub off on Dwight and not mention, I think these 2 can benefit from one another in practice.

As for Lin, I really dont want to see him go but it depends on who we get back. I really like the contrast of styles between our point guards where Lin is more half court/ball dominant and Bev pushes it more (also defensively). Harder for teams to gameplan when you have the ability to mix it up.Reminds me of the AB/Lowry combo we had and I think Dwight can benefit from both styles. Just like Dwight/Omer I feel both of them can really benefit from each other especially where in practice where they can go at it and especially since McHale doesn't mind benching Lin. Ideally Id keep both and just play on with the roster we have with Dwight but well just have to see what happens.

Calderon gets a bad rap, but offensively he is a dynamo.

    40% 3 point shooter
    90% free throw %
    low turnovers

He would be a good pickup.

    Fair enough.

Jose is a free agent, and if he commands say around $4m-$6m, I'd do a sign and trade for him. Save some cap space while shipping out Lin.

It's about the fit. If you're building a team, Lin is better. If you have a contender in place and the PG is the No. 4 or No. 5 option, I'll take Calderon.

Damn... I think you would not want to think of a Dwight Linjury?

He's a free agent. Would be a sign-and-trade, so we'd negotiate a contract with him.

He won't really need to create his own shot. As long as he can pass well without turning it over and catch and shoot 3s at a good rate than he will be a good compliment piece to Harden and Howard.

Asik and Lin for Lillard? They do need a center!

    He is a free agent.

Could probably be had for 4-5 million since there is tons of PG talent in the league.

The more I think about it, the more I like the idea of Calderon alongside Harden.

46% from 3 last year and $11 mn off the books ahead of next year's free agency fest.

it would be a good move.

Actually, what kind of money will Calderon demand?

If we have a title shot, I'd think he take a lot less than his previous contract.

Like a number of others, I'm concerned about overconfidence and chasing purely stars that have bad personalities and diva complexes (Howard and Rondo). A major issue is how teammates mesh together and I'm concerned Morey is starting to chase talent alone with the hopes that McHale can control all the egos, which I don't think he can.

We'll see how things turn out but I think if we're getting Asik and Lin outta here we need very fair value, and not just on the talent side considering how well-adjusted and hardworking those two players are.

Career 40% 3 point shooter. I'll take that.

I do not agree. Josh Smith is a major guy. You don't need him to shoot.
All D, decent rebounding beside a Center, tough mentality, splendid transition guy

    relatively in his prime

Calderon is a terrible defender but that's what we have Bev for.
