I'm fully prepared emotionally if we don't get Dwight. Ain't believin' crap until Woj says its so.

Someone said the other day that it is Jeannie who has final say these days, not Jim.

Not sure if that's true, or if that is more along the lines of what Dwight Howard would like to be true.

That's what Dwight would like. Jeanie runs the business end and has little to do with basketball, if anything. That's why Phil still doesn't have any sort of significant or official role.

Yeah, my understanding has been that Jim Buss has final say on basketball decisions.

So when I heard Jeannie supposedly now has final say on basketball decisions, I was like "that sounds like a shell game play to try to get Dwight Howard to stay by telling him what he wants to hear."

Didn't jibe for me based upon what I had heard previously.

Damn, I can picture the Rockets posse strolling down the walk of fame like this right now on the phone with Woj:

I'll wait to get excited until it actually happens. Either way, I like this team, and I'm sure Morey has a few more tricks up his sleeve even if Dwight doesn't sign here.
