I think Ellis and Reddick are the best of that bunch. Just depends on what you want. Ellis while can dribble out the ball, it's hard to deny his scoring AND it's scoring that does not go way when it's clutch time. In fact he's been very clutch through his career, we've seen the guy turn into Chris Paul against us in the last moments of the game. Reddick is just very consistent and also hits big shots. Smith is a complete wildcard. Mayo and Kmart are more likely to disappoint than anything. At this point James Harden is the best SG in the NBA almost by default.
I'd put both Mayo and Ellis above him on the best available shooting guards. I think he'd fit in well with the Bulls, Clippers, and Pelicans pretty well. I could also see a few other teams making a run at him depending on what happens with their own players in Free Agency.
Look what he got this season out of Bellinelli and Robinson. With Rose coming back, the backcourt's defense should improve immensely. Martin may be a liablity, but I don't think there is a very notable difference between Belinelli and Martin in that regard, but on the other end of the court, Martin is more of a weapon and will improve the Bulls overall offense by keeping the opposing defending keep up with Martin on screens and around the perimeter. They should really try and pickup an upgrade over Boozer though. If the Gasol rumors have any basis, they should do whatever they can get get him. I'd imagine they'd put in a good bid on Gasol off amnesty waivers should the Laker's go that route. I'd imagine they'll try to tank if they don't keep Howard, and if that's their strategy, I'd pick World Peace over Gasol for doing it.
Their third-leading scorer and the unofficial replacement for Harden, shooting guard Kevin Martin, is a free agent who is seriously considering leaving town. Martin told USA TODAY Sports that he has an interest in returning to the Thunder, but it's clear he's looking around and well aware of how unlikely it is that they'll offer the sort of contract he's looking for. The list of teams who are known to have an interest in him is long and intriguing, including the Minnesota Timberwolves, Milwaukee Bucks, Dallas Mavericks, Portland Trail Blazers, New Orleans Pelicans, Detroit Pistons and Memphis Grizzlies. I don't think OKC was looking to retain KM's services. They were hoping the draft picks they acquired would turn out to be more beneficial to the team.
Going to the wolves. That Harden trade just gets better and better and better  http://espn.go.com/nba/story/_/id/9...deal-minnesota-timberwolves-according-sources
Main asset for OKC was obviously Lamb, they never even planned on resigning Martin. They would ask for Parsons otherwise.
