Anyone confident McHale has already come up with a better system to incorporate Dwight into it than last season?

I'm scared that McHale will be clueless and Harden will be the one in the meeting to tell Dwight how he would play with the team.

HOF McHale clueless? He knows tons of basketball. In fact, he will be the most knowledgeable man in that meeting room including Dream. When he talks, Howard has to listen, period.

There's nothing better than convincing Dwight with 3 HOFs, 2 of them being some of the greatest of all time.

Actually, that's three of the greatest of all time. Dream, Clyde, and McHale. Add James and Chandler, leaders of the current team. One a very young superstar on the make, who's deep in the conversation as being the best shooting guard in the league, and one a key player, future selection at the All Star game IMO, and Friend of Dwight since his Orlando days, both at the perfect age to grow with Dwight and collect rings for a very long time, toss in Morey the Magician, and Les of the Endless Deep Pockets, possessor of the keys to a 1.3 BILLION market of folks in China, a gentleman who badly wants another trophy and another banner hanging from the rafters of the Toy Box, and that's a powerful team indeed.

That's a damned near impossible team to beat!

I'm kind of worried about them sending Drexler. I mean...I am sort of joking and I am sort of not joking. It'd be like sending Joe Biden to go out and help close a very important diplomatic agreement -- are you sure you want to do that? Drexler often says really dumb and uncouth things that take no account who might hear them and what the audience he is in will think of what he said.

Basically he is a crazy drunk uncle at the party that is a lot of fun, but everyone is waiting for the other shoe to drop and for him to inadvertently cause a scene.

And in case these aren't impressive enough, McHale accomplished such next to one of the premiere wing players of all time.

I think Drexler will be fine. He's a product of Houston and will likely attest to the low pressure lifestyle of being a professional athlete here. Just like I'm sure Clemens' pitch will likey be the same--after all, coming from NY to Hou I'm sure he would be one to talk about a better work/life enviornment

I just think we would send too many people. So Rockets decided sending 8 people are enough.

Because Parsons and Harden have been the ones talking to him for a while now and each have a previous connection to him.
