Things I have learned from listening to Right Wing Talk Radio

I listened to Michael Berry at 740 am, he does come across of being racist.

 

what specifics do you have to back up this statement?

or are you just talking out of your ass?

 

Since you seem to know about him, isn't Michael Berry the radio guy that was involved in a hit-and-run at a gay bar?

 

do you have a problem with a bar that has gay clientele?

are you homophobic?

 

How would you derive that from my simple question? Seems like a touchy subject for you. So Michael Berry is gay? I didn't know that, and I join you in supporting the Supreme Court's recent decision on DOMA.

There was the time when Obama was talking about the girl who sung at inauguration who was killed. Berry tweeted something including "nukka dead" On his show he turned it into black people being racist against him haha

 

On Tuesday of this week right after the SC ruled on the Voting Rights Act he said something to the effect of: It's a good thing they did this and got rid of a law that was put in place because of "alleged" (and he stressed that word) bad acts by a small group of people.

Alleged? That is complete hogwash and only a racist would say that, or someone who plays one on the radio. Like I've said about Berry before, people I know who know him say he is not the person he plays on the radio and that he only plays that guy because his listeners love it.

I'm sitting here at my Mother's house, where Fox News is always on. This morning I learned that Guantanamo should be a travelocity destination because of how fancy the amenities are there.

Anybody who takes radio talk show hosts seriously has a real problem. These guys make tons of money to generate ratings and callers. You generally don't do that without having a shtick. In this regard, these guys are more akin to entertainers than they are akin to newspersons. Frankly, I wish they would all go away. In reality, they pander to the most extreme elements of the right wing and appall everybody else.

 

Then why are conservative politicians deathly afraid of them?

 

Oh look who shows up; a perfect example of the nutjob mindset.

 

Probably because you can't win a GOP primary without the far right. The talk radio showmen speak directly to that segment, so the talk radio guys can impact their future. It is pretty simple.
