Lin being there is beneficial because of Dwight's possible preference to play with a pass first PG and the Asian market pitch.

Ramona Shelburne is a pretty good source close to the Lakers.

I think Dwight has already made his mind up to leave the Lakers.
Atlanta is out of the running because CP3 is staying with the Clippers.
Mavs are will have to rebuild much the same as the Lakers so no reason to go there.

I think the major threat is that Clippers S&T involving Griffin and Bledsoe but I haven't heard that Dwight is meeting with the Clippers at all.

Is Houston meeting with Dwight on Sunday night? After midnight? Isn't that odd? Or do I have that totally wrong. If its correct I think we got him.

How do they organize the meetings before free agency begins? Does Dwight call Houston and say you're first, come at 9pm, bring a bottle of wine? Anyways I think it's a good sign we're first. Those teams in the middle of the order are just fodder. LA is last but only at their request.

Not entirely sure but my guess is at his house, like it was with Lebron. There's nothing to tour at the rockets facilities though, they've all been gutted and are undergoing a complete retrofit.

 

Howard has been living out of a hotel in L.A for the past year and a half so I'm guessing the hotel conference room. And the Rockets facilities are being renovated so it wouldn't be a good idea to let him in there til its complete. Morey has gotten smarter with his recruiting tactics, instead of an iPad this time he's bringing James Harden, Chandler Parsons, Howard's former strength & conditioning coach and Hakeem the Dream. I've never understood why dream isn't a Rox front office guy in the same vein as Alonzo Mourning but I think bringing him along could seal the deal

How do you know Howard's living out of a hotel that long? That's not Hakeems thing to be in front office. He is a very selfless person and his religion keeps him grounded in some matters. He deserves a statue but declines it.
