Great, if true, though Mike Brown was said to be safe about a week or so before he got fired IIRC.

 

I honestly don't think the Lakers will get THAT desperate.

I mean look at what can happen if Dwight leaves...They can get a top 5 draft pick AND cap space for the next offseason. It's like they have a instant rebuild ticket right there.

They'll likely trade Pau and poor Nash will be stuck with some horrible horrible players as they tank out for the year...maybe they'll do Nash right though and send him somewhere, same with MWP.

Dude - Lakers fans are MAD. Assuming Dwight goes ANYWHERE, there's going to be social media fall-out for a while like when Lin left New York. A bunch of butthurt casual fans cursing on every Facebook status they can find. Mwahaha.

That is why I think we should also worry about Golden State. They could offer Bogut's expiring contract and either Barnes or Thompson and, considering the alternative is losing him for nothing, the Lakers would gladly take it.
