I'm sure the Rockets had this all planned out under the NBA guideline before setting this most important free-agent date in history. Les is no Mark Cuban, who is the most NBA fined owner ever.

I will be surprised, if Howard doesn't become a Rocket after the meeting. I will not be shocked, if he cancels the other teams and we have the "Dwight Howard reaches agreement with the Rockets." At the same time, knowing Dwight's magnetic love of publicity, he could turn this into the "The Decision" by Lebron.

Interesting??? that Rox will, or will try??? to meet with CP3 also - - but nothing on JSmoove? Ah, good (unless he is a precondition of the random tall guy in LA).

Check out Jarrod Rudolph's timeline today. He's out in LA, most presume with Dwight. He's been incredibly cryptic lately (out of respect to Dwight, his friend), but today... he's going out of his way to argue how you don't have to be employed in LA to have entertainment options.

@RealWilliamCarr @DwightHoward: It's been a while, Will. How are you? Now, I want to point out that he landed movie roles while in Orlando
— Jarrod N Rudolph (@JRudolphSports) June 29, 2013

@RealWilliamCarr @DwightHoward: Personality and appeal have little to do with the city you're employed. With what Carl posted about Feigen's response regarding the salary cap/releasing Robinson/being enough, Morey's attitude (borderline cocky/extremely self assured) and all these positive reports, it FEELS different this time.

It FEELS different than the Renfro touchdown being ruled out of bounds. It FEELS different than Jimmy V's miracle. It FEELS different than 35-3. It FEELS different than Stockton's shot. It FEELS different than the Melo courting. It FEELS different than the iPad presentation. It FEELS different than the trade deadline Dwight pursuit. It FEELS different than the last couple of draft "letdowns" where no big announcement was made.

Just feels different is all I'm saying.

Other than Dwight's indecisiveness, what at this point could stop this from happening? Barring a huge trade or coaching announcement, things are looking awful good for us (knock on wood).

Someone should tweet Rudolph and ask him if he'd still "bet the house" on Houston if Dwight leaves L.A.

Don't let Clyde speak and don't let Les laugh. We should be good.

I don't believe the "No front runner thing" I read a lot into us going first in regards to getting to speak to him tomorrow night.

If it is really about winning, he will come here. And if he doesn't then we move on. In Houston, all roads lead to contention.

No it doesn't. It's media chatter. I mean, what else is he going to say?

Yeah, the "no frontrunner" is called the official party line.
