Dwight doesn't want to play with Harden, prefers Orlando-style team or superstar PG?

Wasn't Harden one of, if not THE best PnR guards in the league last year?

Makes sense to me. If I were a superstar in the NBA, I'd probably rather have a team I could call my own with an offense fit to my style and players built around me rather then team up with a bunch of other stars. It's like when you are drafting a team for pickup basketball and you pick the defensive hustle guys that you know won't be taking away all your shots

I don't think Howard is a ballhog, and I think there will be plenty of looks for Dwight in the post. And like what other people have stated, our run and gun 3-pt 'gimicky' offense was just what fit our players best. In McHale's first year with Lowry, Dragic, KMart, Lee, Scola we didn't run anything like that. The offense could definitely adapt to Dwight.

Broussard doesn't think Howard would be a better fit with the Mavericks. He says as much in the first sentence.

You missed a whole bunch of the season and the first 3 years of his career for that matter then...

yeh... if Dwight wants to go with a team that runs an offense that "suits" him... then maybe he should work on having an offensive game/set of moves/passing/FTs.

if he thinks this at all, then he needs to humble himself and work on his own game, because he is not god's gift to basketball.

...and at least Houston already has young talent and chemistry to build off of. Dallas is a mess, with an aging superstar. Dwight already rolled the dice on age in LA, now he may want to do it in Dallas? Stupid.

I've never been quite sure if I even wanted D12, however he is a really good (not great) C presence on an emerging squad, and it'd be silly to not try. I just wish he didn't seem like such a whiny diva baby btch.

You don't trade Harden to cater to Dwight, no way. Dwight is 27, will be 28 by the end of this year and it's still questionable if he'll be healthy. You'll lose a year, at least, of Dwight's contract trying to re-tool. There's no guarantee that new team will mesh instantly either, so it's closer to 2 yrs wasted, at least. In the end, we'll end up with a much older team and just a 2 yr window to make something happen.

I don't think there has ever been a SG/C combo that succeeded here before...

I feel like Bosh may regret going to the Heat, he is treated like the red-headed step child in South Beach

We do have to be worried about what Dallas is trying to do with Rondo.

Anyone know how realistic it would be for them to trade for Rondo and still sign Dwight?

Dwight Howard has reportedly said multiple times that he doesn't want to be a Pick and Roll guy. I think he just doesn't want a chunker like Kobe.

Rondo is punk who can't nail a three. No way you are winning in a kick out system with him at the helm.

If's funny, because Dwight never said none of this crap, hell he never said he wanted to come to Houston or not. Broussard is and always will be a bottom feeder. he use guesses as sources. Truth is Dwight don't know what he wants, so don't believe everything you her, just wait and see.

If it's not a WOJO rumor, don't believe it's even close to true.
